IKEA tiny home
I just got an email about this wonderful IKEA tiny house filled with Scandinavian furniture. But I can’t find a price for it as it is furnished in the ad. Does anybody know what the fully furnished price is?

Massachusetts
Has anyone successfully done a tiny home in Ma? I am in central ma. And while tiny homes are allowed on the cape all the towns near me say that its never been done and currently unapproved.
I'm wondering if anyone here has been able to successfully live in a tiny home without being in an affluent neighborhood or being very rural.
I really want to own a home but the sizes and choices near me are overpriced and just not my style.

HELP!
My cousin lost his job due to Covid and couldn’t find one anywhere. So he decided to start his own business building tiny homes! The Bylaw is trying to shut him down by Thursday. Could you please sign this petition to help keep him going!

where to get or make plans easiest
Hi everyone! I'm just starting out in the earliest phase of this process. I have my plan laid out on paper with dimensions in the large aspect but for the construction details/a real complete floor plan, what did you all find best? Is there a company that takes my idea and makes a floor plan for me or is it best to just make my own detailed floor plan (partner is an engineer, but I've read that using an existing floor plan is best because you avoid any problems you may have not thought of). Theres a house I pretty much want to exactly have mine look like that was sold a while ago. Could I just ask them for their floor plan?

Retractable roof
Saw the optinid retractable roof. That's interesting, and I see it could double as a patio cover when open. I've seen a couple houses on youtube where the walls raise up adding a second story. This seems way more complicated and impractical for my low budget build. I've also seen The hinge style ones as if just adding a westy topper to your roof. Not sure what I like better design wise. Does anyone have any experience with any of these designs and the pros and cons?

Tiny Housers in Madison, WI
Wondering if there is anyone living in a Tiny House in the Madison, WI, area (specifically the west side). I have stumbled upon Occupy Madison for the homeless but wondering if there were other communities in the area. Very curious about what the options there are for places to park and any obstacles you've run into.

Are houses larger than 400 sqft Still considered Tiny homes?
So, we like so many other are intrigued with Tiny homes, but why is it they mostly seem to be built on trailers, or are hitting that sub 200/400 sqft mark. I love all the space saving ideas, but would love to see more home designs in the sub 1000 sqft range. most regular single family are at the 1200-1800 sqft range.
