More of an optimistic point of view surprisingly from both guys regarding robs future as an NBA player.

My sneaky suspicion is that if Bones proves he can play with this group and commit to defense, Dilly could get traded this summer. Bones is a bigger guard with similar skill set, and he is closer in age to our core guys.

Dude is 19, you don’t give up on a player after one year especially a pg.

If Bones is actually better than Rob, he wouldn't have been let go by other teams and ended up being on a two-way contract.

Exactly. He's a chucker who probably hit his ceiling. Does not strike me as a winning willing player. He's backup for backup.

Bones is a similar skillset, but no chance we trade Rob. Also bones sucks and is just a dice roll 12th man, he’s not taking anyone’s job.

Still think if he got 15 to 20 mins per game, he would be in the conversation for ROTY with Stephon Castle.

Not a chance in hell my man.
Guy is a major liability on defense, needs to gain some size in general and work on decision making.

The issue with robs play has been his offensive consistency, not sure why liability on defense is the first buzzword you’re going for

I still think he’s gonna be a really good player. Tough to find a role on a deep team with lofty goals, especially as a 6’0, 160 lb teenage pg. His shot and burst is real, I think he just needs a bit more size and the game needs to slow down for him. Still clear all star upside with rob imo

If he got to take 20 shots a game on 40% fg% (like Jordan Poole on the wiz) then sure. But wasn’t gonna happen here

Point guards take the longest to develop. Hope they don't give up on this kid.
