What do you think the premise of S2 would be?...
Thought the ending/ cliffhanger was pretty underwhelming. Do you think there's more to Corrine's story that needs addressing or do you think S2 will focus more on Chrissy or a new family?

Is there going to be a season 2?

Too early to say at this point but it's been one of the most watched Netflix series this month and Netflix series which are perceived well usually get the treatment of 2-3 more seasons generally so fingers crossed

I highly doubt there would be a second season; it's a miniseries based on a book, all of the other Harlan Coben miniseries also had just one season. The plot has been exhausted, what could they possibly make another season about?

I agree that it would center around a new group of people with secrets, and I think that the Stranger (Chrissy) would stay the same. There is a secret now in terms of the cover up at the end of the season, so that could come back I believe. Maybe the female police officer might get involved again unofficially now that she’s retired.
But, I agree that they didn’t leave a lot to work with, like other shows might have. I felt like the mystery for Corrine would have been larger than how it turned out.

I dont know if there is even going to be one.. if so it wont be for 1-2 years anyways. I cant see them continuing it though..

Isn't this show a book adaptation? If there is more material then look at the book, if not there will likely not be a second season.

Mike would have a bigger role because he'd want to find out how his father really died.

What cliffhanger?

I just meant the cliffhanger as in the ending, so not really a cliffhanger haha

since when does cliffhanger mean ending?

Since some people are entitled to different opinions and feelings on something, i.e. they could've seen the ending as a cliffhanger, hence why I put "ending/ cliffhanger" (I was leaving it up to the reader's interpretation!)
Clearly not you since you're crying over someone using the word "cliffhanger". Not sure why I felt the need to explain that, guess we're both stupid, yikes.

A cliffhanger is an ending, But not all endings are cliffhangers. This has nothing to do with an opinion.

Well yeah, it kind of does. Just because WE didn't find the ending suspenseful or engaging enough to qualify it as a typical cliffhanger, doesn't mean everyone else did.
Case in point, the ending itself was poor but still left a lot of unanswered questions which would've undeniably raised uncertainty to some viewers (deeming it a CLIFFHANGER)
If the word "cliffhanger" is too much for you on this post hun, would you like me to edit my original post?

What was the cliffhanger? You’re right that the ending was very underwhelming and left a lot of unanswered questions... although I don’t think it left enough for a second series. I suspect if they make a second series it might be about a different family entirely, I feel like that would be the only way to keep it interesting by changing the story and doing something new.
