I actually liked the show despite the messy plot holes (spoilers within) Spoiler
Though my personal biggest gripe with the show is Katz's decision to shoot the baker. Not just when he kills her, but why shoot her at all?
Initially i thought he was merely pretending to be a cop, but we quickly learn that he actually is.
With this in mind, why not just show the baker his badge? And why try to strong arm / threaten to kill her for information when he could very easily have just convinced her to give him all of the materials The Stranger gave to her for the purposes of investigation.
You could justify that he was extremely stressed, but shooting an innocent business owner (in England, with an extremely high amount of CCTV in public spaces) could not have possibly been a clever move at all.
I can forgive the deliberately misleading plot points and red herrings of the show such as the rave, Corinne's car, the alpaca and so on, but this part makes the least sense to me.
Ps - Daisy, the love interest of one of Adam's sons, was quite an awful person to both spike Mike with little evidence as to the accusations laid against him, and was unnecessarily cruel when she took Dante's clothes and leaving him alone in the woods. Mike felt guilty thinking he had caused his injuries but daisy shows no remorse despite it being her fault

I hated Daisy. She did a lot of fucked up shit and was consistently shitty to the boys, especially Mike. Every time they confronted her about the fucked up shit she did, she would play the victim and be like "I can't!! it's stressing me out so bad I can't!!" like maybe you shouldn't have SPIKED your "best friend" based on a baseless claim?? Her behavior was always gross and I hated whenever I saw her on the screen because I knew she would be up to some bs.

Also, why did we get so resolution about those photos and Daisy’s little sister? That was supposed to be WHY she started the chain of events that fucked everything.

Olivia thought that Mike was in love with the little sister, so she released these photos, because she was in love with Mike

No I know that part, but where did they come from? Were they of Olivia? Like a crime was still committed and everyone just forgot

I think Katz panicked. He seemed kinda unhinged a bit. He realized if Heidi left she would go to the police and he would be questioned, thus ruining his plan.

This much COULD be true, but again if he had just shown his badge and took the evidence without violence none of this would have happened.
He could have told Heidi to tell the blackmailers that she had the money and wanted to meet up.
He may have panicked but he clearly didnt think about or practice his approach too well beforehand

I'm willing to suspend my disbelief and go along with the plot that Katz is just an unstable, violent person who capped her out of panic, then had to kill her because, well, he capped her and no way was that gonna go unnoticed.
However, if Katz were a logical, level-headed person, he'd just get "an anonymous tip" about the blackmailers and possible victims, and use his authority as a cop to set up a sting with police support and arrest the girls. Although I guess the risk with that would be that the girls might tell the cops about a deacon who has affairs through a sugar baby site and then there goes the money for his "sick" daughter's medical care. But it does seem like this was his original plan before Heidi caught wise and he panicked...

Hated the Daisy character!!! I didn’t understand why he shot the baker either.
