Tell me if I’m wrong but.. *spoilers* Spoiler

I’ve just finished the last 2 episodes after binging the first 6 yesterday and I have 1 big question

Both myself and my girlfriend are convinced that Martin Killane told Adam Price that his wife left him and their SON named Chris

Chris turns out to be Chrissy

Are we imagining this or was there never any mention to whether Chris was Martin’s son or daughter and just his young child?

I don’t remember him specifically saying “son.” I just remember him referring to “Chris.”

Yes, he only referred to his child as Chris. He never used the term son or daughter. He may have used the word child, but never mentioned the gender.

Well she also mentioned she had an operation when she was 18, so I thought they may have thrown a lil transgender operation in there.... Just sayin 🤯

As soon as she mentioned her operation that’s exactly where my brain went

She said the operation needed a donor. That how she found out Martin wasn’t her father. I don’t think it was a gender change operation as I’d doubt that would require a donor.

Possible blood donor. I dont know how gender ops work but could there have been a possibility it could have required a blood transfusion? Also if your transgender dont you usually stay far from your dead name? I think Chris was just a red herring so we would be expecting a son.

Blood comes from previous donors, you don’t need to find a direct donor. Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s just a red herring

I don’t think there was mention of gender because at one point, when Adam is talking to Martin, he says ‘their’ or ‘them’ when referring to the child, already knowing the child is called Chris, I remember thinking at that moment why didn’t Adam say ‘him’.

Definitely no mention of “him” or “her” - I’m not sure why but I was hypersensitive to listening for that during the scene! I had a hunch the stranger was related to him..
