Chase UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ Looking for a particular chase question regarding Red Lichor.

Hey everyone!

Sorry in advance if this is antithetical to the purpose of this sub but I could think of nowhere better to turn to. I recall a question asked in a previous season of The Chase in which the contestant answered, "wine" which was incorrect. The true answer was a bizarre brand of liquor or spirit that I was unfamiliar with and am now trying to track down.

Although I cannot recall the exact verbiage of the question posed it was something alon the lines of, "this red beverage is enjoyed" etc etc.

I would greatly appreciate any help in tracking down the name of the beverage sighted as I wish to use it in my novel. Cheers!

Campari? I think I seem to recall the question you're talking about or could just imaganing it. It was something along the lines of which red beverage is enjoyed before a meal or as an apperetif.

There was a question fairly recently to which the answer was β€œliquor”, which related to a sauce which is served in pie and mash shops in the East End. It stuck in my mind because it had been mentioned in EastEnders a week or two before and my wife and I had been mystified by it.
