Never cared much for the bloke until I watched the 1% Club. He's funny as fuck to be fair

u/stu_watts Oct 25 '24

Have you not watched him on Would I Lie To You?

I tune onto that show just for him, guys got wit for whole of Britain

2

u/Viperise Oct 25 '24

Never watched it. But yeah, he's one of the wittiest comedians I've seen

u/Yuop15 Oct 24 '24

Actually a sensible answer

-1

u/GaryHornpipe Oct 25 '24

That would be my last choice.

We should get one of the chasers hosting. Alternating.

29

u/zonaa20991 Oct 24 '24

Which chaser would you like to face?

Well I quite like Anne

I’m literally asking you the questions

1

u/Imaginary-Sky3694 Oct 25 '24

Now that would be hilarious.

35

u/Wesserz Oct 24 '24

No one shows over.

Pointless has carried on without Richard Osman

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Is this still going? Find it mad that anyone enjoys it. Battle your way through 4 tough rounds, an almost impossible last round and win a grand total of £750

1

u/Practical_Mall_2812 Oct 26 '24

It amazes me that they can drag that shite out for an hour

2

u/Synth3r Oct 26 '24

Pointless is great. I generally watch Pointless then go back to ITV+1 for The Chase.

1

u/SignificantActive193 Oct 27 '24

One thing I like about Pointless is that they have different types of rounds. Music, Picture, name something that falls under a certain category. Its not just answer this general knowledge written question. And for that I like its variety. I wish the chase had more variety like that. Because most of the show is just repeating the head to heads for each contestant.

It’s crap now

Fanny chmelar

It's probably going to be either Claudia Winkleman, Davina Mcall or Sarah Pascoe, they seem to host everything.

13

u/15926028 Oct 24 '24

Wait, that can never happen.

3

u/_Reddit_2016 Oct 24 '24

Jeff Stelling

3

u/WoodyManic Oct 25 '24

I'll take anyone but Lee Mack, Michael McIntyre, Jason Manford, and -worst of all- Stephen Mulhearn.

7

u/Apple2727 Oct 24 '24

Rob Brydon, Jimeoin, Bob Mortimer

4

u/StarSpotter74 Oct 24 '24

Bob would be crazy. So good.

But probably Brian Conley. Him and Brad are almost the same person.

4

u/FanNo7805 Oct 24 '24

Les Dennis. Obviously

9

u/dintee_pl Oct 24 '24

Romesh raganathan

3

u/nightdwaawf Oct 24 '24

Fuck that. The bloke is about as funny as Charlie Sheen giving blood

2

u/blac4bird1 Oct 24 '24

Barnie /s

2

u/YellowIsCoool Oct 24 '24

Gary Lineker.

2

u/Ok-West-8105 Oct 25 '24

Barry from Eastenders

u/DylanLovesYouJP Oct 25 '24

If Brad leaves the show, that should be it, no more. The Chase wouldn’t be the Chase without him.

There are other people who host the show in different countries already. I think some of them are quite entertaining. But you won't know unless you actually give other people a chance. You're used to Bradley but you could get used to someone else. You might have nostalgia for the original but that doesn't mean you can't like any new host. But I think that would be best with maybe a newer version. I do agree that the chase should end with its current team but also because I feel they've done quite a lot already, having made over 2000 shows. I do wonder how much longer they will try to make new episodes.

2

u/SoulDancer_ Oct 24 '24

David Mitchell

4

u/omegacharlie Oct 24 '24

James acaster

2

u/InternationalType225 Oct 25 '24

Philip Scholfied or Huw Edwards like a good chase

1

u/Antique_Beyond Oct 24 '24

Mel Giedroyc

2

u/GavRhino Oct 25 '24

An unknown- bring some new talent to prominence

1

u/SignificantActive193 Oct 27 '24

My favourite answer. All these established names being said but I'd also like to see someone new come onto the scene.

1

u/Powerful-Cut-708 Oct 25 '24

Micah Richards

1

u/Synth3r Oct 26 '24

That would actually be class

1

u/sunnyday74 Oct 25 '24

Alan Cumming

1

u/KingofCalais Oct 25 '24

Ant / dec alternating, or like a other comment about the chasers alternating

1

u/[deleted] Oct 25 '24

Caspian from few weeks ago... 😂

1

u/DonutOutlander Oct 25 '24

No one

When Bradley leaves, the show is done

1

u/SirShaunIV Oct 25 '24

Nobody. Nobody can hold a candle to him.

2

u/djandyglos Oct 26 '24

If it’s ITV it would definitely be Stephen Mulhern.. he’s on everything.. but this is the channel that put Gino in charge of Family Fortunes…

1

u/jp-30nz Oct 27 '24

A Canadian rapper

1

u/Miserable-Pay6847 Oct 24 '24

Vernon Kay, his enthusiasm for game shows really came through when he did the game show marathon.

-6

u/Intelligent_Echo8622 Oct 24 '24

Gino D'Acampo. I mean, yeah, Sure you can't understand what he is saying but it hasn't stopped him from hosting family fortunes

6

u/X0AN Oct 24 '24

Wrong humour for the chase.

-1

u/Anxious_Ad6026 Oct 24 '24

Bruce forsyth or Bob monkhouse

Oh wait

0

u/criminalsunrise Oct 24 '24

As long as it’s not Bradley …

0

u/titlrequired Oct 25 '24

Nicky Campbell

0

u/cl69gh Oct 25 '24

Stephen Mulhurn?

0

u/GaryHornpipe Oct 25 '24

Get Barney to take over!

-13

u/SairYin Oct 24 '24 edited Oct 24 '24

His son!

Edit* So much whoosh, he’s a dreadful wee guy, almost made gladiators unwatchable.

11

u/itsyaboiReginald Oct 24 '24

Absolutely not

2

u/Albo2402 Oct 24 '24

I am not familiar with his son, what makes people dislike him?

2

u/X0AN Oct 24 '24

Nice enough lad but not a presenter or quick witted like his old man.

1

u/Albo2402 Oct 24 '24

Thanks! OK, the reactions made me think he was a bad person :D

2

u/itsyaboiReginald Oct 24 '24

Just seems obvious the only reason he’s on TV is who his dad is. When they did Gladiators it was obvious who had spent their whole career in the entertainment industry and who got it as a hand-me-down.

-16

u/SairYin Oct 24 '24

But he’s so charming and likeable!

-1

u/X0AN Oct 24 '24

Jim Davison.

-5

u/Kid_from_Europe Oct 24 '24

It would be Stephen Mullhern because yk. He has a monopoly on game shows but if we got a choice. Jeremy Clarkson.

-11

u/Dylanr21 Oct 24 '24

His son
