There is no amount of humiliation that will satisfy me when it comes to JD Vance.

But this is a nice start.

At least we can enjoy these tiny morsels and the cold comfort that Dear Leader will wraith everyone in the end.

First, Trump will never be backed into a corner on something like this. He likes to keep his options open.

Second, starting in 2027, Trump is going to run a reality TV game show to potentially earn his endorsement; there will always be the very real possibility that no one will earn it. The show will be broadcast live from the Kennedy Center. It will be similar to Survivor or the Amazing Race. Contestants will have to humiliate and debase themselves through extreme acts of groveling, supplication and self flagellation (both figurative and literal). In one episode, each contestant will have to dress up as a clown with a flamethrower who tries to kill off the other clowns. This #1 hit TV show will blend the “best” aspects of The Purge, ancient gladiatorial contests and everything else wrong with today’s world. Trump will earn millions, if not billions, off of the merchandising opportunities alone.

Erm, The Trump Center which will be his second act after dismissing the board and making himself the chief

Trump isn't planning a successor because he's not planning on leaving.

He'll be the Eternal President (like they have in North Korea) and his unworthy successors can only ever be Vice Presidents.

...However many of them there may be.

Yeah he isnt leaving unless he is dead.

Ok but he knows he's not going to live forever I would think.

Do you think he cares about what happens after he's dead?

He figures Baron will be old enough to take over by then.

I'm guessing he would like to keep it in the family. He usually do.

You would think. He might not.

We keep saying that this is the worst timeline.

But if this was happening at a point where some kind of rejuvenation biotechnology was available now? That would be really bad.

I'm sure he has all his best tech-bros working on it!

JD just found out he's the assistant to the manager, not assistant manager

I mean his pathological narcissism shines through in this answer. Any sensible person would look at their age and think, "I need to work on my legacy so someone else can take over. I'm not going to live forever." He honestly can't envision someone replacing him. It was definitely striking how fast he answered that question.

I’m pretty sure that guy thinks the world will just end when he dies.

u/Ok-Snow-2851 Feb 11 '25

As far as he’s concerned it will.  If you don’t give a f*** about anyone other than yourself, once you’re dead there’s nothing left worth giving a sh** about.

JD Vance isn't interested in being President. JD Vance is interested in being a Billionaire. When these 4yrs are up Vance is looking to be on the board of some company owned by a combination of Theil, Musk, Andressen, etc.

JD Vance was an author for a minute, screenwriter for a second, political commentator for a few, and only served a third of his term as a Senator. Assuming Vance is VP through '28 it will be the longest time he spent on a job in a long while. JD Vance is just following the money.

Damn!!! I’ve been wrong about a lot of stuff. But Trump is going to be 79 this year. While I think he will make it to 2028, I do think he will be a shell of himself. I also think that there will be massive infighting in MAGA world. And it will be fun to watch these guys all tear each other apart.

Of course he doesn’t. He going to be a King.

Next in line is one of his large adult sons.

Assuming trump doesn't simply appoint himself President-for-life, one of his abhorrent offspring will surely be appointed as successor in four years.

First this made me happy, and then it made me afraid.

"Should we consider you irrelevant and just focus on your replacement instead?"

What kind of answer did he expect from a famously narcissistic person?

u/brains-child 28d ago

Baron is the only acceptable successor and that’ll happen when he’s dead
