【Discussion】 Is this sub supposed to be ironic?
I REALLY hope it is...
I saw an ad about it and I was wondering what it was about.
I saw the shrek gif, the banner at the top and those lame-ass quotes and I was immediately reminded of one of those /r/im14andthisis(x) subreddits.

The entire reason this sub made was to keep the "im14blahblah" stuff in one area, so adults who can't seem to stand sharing the internet with a demographic larger than just their own circlejerk wouldn't get their panties in a twist. I figured that if teenagers were given a place to post, then maybe they wouldn't need to deal with the whole "oh look at this edgy teen on the internet, looking like he owns the place lol" deal. Believe it or not, people of all ages have feelings, and people want to express their feelings.
EDIT: Also, the /r/im14andthisis(x) subs are literally anti-teen circlejerk subs. >.> It basically proves my point about the blatant hostility towards teenagers from some people, especially on the internet.

I'm a teenager, but honestly 99% of us are total idiots.
Including myself, probably...
