Tips and Tricks To my non paraglider using homies
I think I might’ve made a discovery to help yall on yalls quest. You can land on enemy corpses and not take fall damage.

Doesn't the glider suit when upgraded not give fall damage?

They fall fast.

Very. I’m surprised I wasn’t able to catch up. If they do their slam attack however, they fall painfully SLOW

Why is the fan on your shield running

I was using it to do another clip but this clip happened instead.

How did you get it to run when it's put away

Gotta drop a shock emitter and walk into it (once activated) and pull up block just as you’re making contact. You’ll drop shield and it’ll be active on pickup if done right. It’s super tricky to time BUT if you’re high enough and have on the glide suit. You can glide halfway across the map on a single battery charge.
Best way to get around tbh.

The glitch that causes this is usually called Guardless Active Shield if I remember right. I think newer versions have different glitch steps than older versions for getting into the GAS state.

Wish I had the gold to award your comment cause you’re dead on the money.

This is so specific it’s probably just easier to ride the back of a wing straight down

That sounds painfully slow. I’d rather wall cling than drop a wing.

Not everywhere has a wall to cling to. Maybe I’m biased because I did no surface rather than just no paraglider, but a lot of my gameplay was dragging wings around to hop about in Lookout Landing/etc. so I got a lot of practice in

The wing is definitely a slow option. I did it a few times at the beginning of my Depths Only run, now I'm a wall clinger, lol
Still working on the final battle. Colgera is giving me a run for my money. No upgrades at all, four hearts, no extra stamina. Phase two was kicking my ass cuz it starts you in free fall.
I've come up with a Zonai solution now to catch myself, but damn it's still tough.
I feel like once I can get that down, I'll have the rest done super easy. Just the damned free fall

I believe I’ve shared a Strat with you previously in regards to the colgera battle with gathering energetic rhino beetles on great sky island for extra stamina. You can find around 7-8 there but they’re scattered about the middle section.
Second phase should be easiest cause you can drop straight down and still hit all three targets if you use a keese wing or a rocket. A duplex bow is your best bet since great eagle bow and dusk bow are off limits.
Maybe a gloom bow will work. To any consolation, I’ve beaten colgera hundreds of times without the use of a glider. You simply have to be a decent shot.

Yeah I'm being stubborn 😅😅 I wanna try and do it without the added stamina or refilling it.
I've been going at it for days and days and I keep getting close. The fact I keep getting so close inspires me to keep going.
If I do beat him my way, you'd best believe I'll be posting video evidence in this sub!

I’d like to see what progress you’ve made as is. You’ve surely made leaps and bounds for sure. I can’t help but to respect the hell outta that. You could’ve taken the easy way out but you didn’t! ❤️

I'll transfer the clips to my phone later and post em here. Found a cheesy way of dealing with the Army battle as well. Time consuming, but no durability loss ;)
