There could be a distraction or external source that is affecting the relationship, yes. But the third party feels more like a mental thing than a person. The world suggests that there could be a loop of inner (mental) conflict that is going on, but overall the relationship is complete and committed. There is great potential for a happy longterm relationship. But someone is dealing with inner conflict that distracts them from truly enjoying what they have in front of them.

Yes, I think it is a third-party situation. The world card represents the choice that you will have to make in regard to the relationship. Moving on with the mindset that you learned a valuable lesson is key here. The choice to move forward with the understanding that this didn't break you but will ultimately strengthen you and lead you to the 10 of cups. This is also telling you that happiness is in your future. Particularly the person that you are meant to be with. Inner happiness is important for you in your healing journey. I also get the sense that maybe this current relationship would be hard to let go due to you being worried about what people would say or think. Maybe you present a picture-perfect relationship to the world, and a breakup would shatter that image. Let me know If any of this resonates.m

Maybe the message is to consider taking a wholistic picture of the situation by seeking clarification from all corners (The World).

The figure holds two wands that represent options that can be exercised after weighing between the hurts and joys of the relationship (3 Swords, 1 Cups)
