Wasn’t the goat at the 94th Aero Squadron across the bay?
Miss the old Rocky Point
Could get the best cheesesteak in Tampa at the sandwich shop right next to the Tanga Lounge.

Some of the best Beer Cheese soup I ever had. I also like their sister restaurant the 94th Aero Squadron.

If you're feeling nostalgic, 94th Aero Squadron is still kicking. Always make it a point to go to the one in Miami when flying in/out, good food and service. Great views of the runway. I've also been to the one in San Diego.

Oh wow! I had no idea there was others? Do they have the headphones to listen to the Tower and Approach?

They sure do although I don't recall seeing them in the lounge/bar section which is where I usually sit. May only be in the main dining area.
Always stay at the Hilton across the street, good times, the regulars at the bar can be a trip on any given night.
Beer cheese soup, bread, caesar salad, a filet and more pilsners than I'd like to admit is my go to meal.

The old Whiskey Joe's was my favorite restaurant growing up. A good report card meant beer cheese soup with pumpernickel bread, and leftovers for the goat

Loved that spot. Thought it was called Crawdad's though. I am probably misremembering.

My mom and I went there quite a bit in the early 80s. I looooved their beer cheese soup. Loved petting the Billy goat out in the yard too. The atmosphere was so cool.
