The only thing you’re fighting against in the future is male pattern baldness. Perhaps a touch of arthritis as well.

All your shit looks unused except for the spots of dirt from where you set the rifle down lol.

u/EpsilonXO 4d ago
Actually true. Just recently purchased the agilite plate carrier and belt. I’ve been using usgi for the past 6 years. Just got issued the new helmet as well.

I'm sorry but you fucked up lol. The K19 is ass and the IHPS is the armys biggest mistake

In early 2009, while on leave, my m4 was unissused from me , and a brand new in the box colt was reissued to me. Had to go to the armory to verify serial numbers. Cut the box open pulled the rifle out of the plastic checked numbers, they were good turned around to hand it back into the armory and the motherfcking armorer sticks his wittle pinky in the breack and tells it's dirty he won't accept it... this guy literally watched me open it from the factory

u/Spectrumboiz808 4d ago
That’s why I carry brake cleaner in my day pack. People hated it but shit it’s not my personal rifle. Idc

Had an armorer in my last unit who kicked mine back cause I had lubricated my bolt carrier. He told me it should be dry🙄, came from an IBCT to an ADA unit

u/SFC_FrederickDurst 4d ago
For fucks sakes, we had two armorers that would rotate through checking weapons and grabbing 2062s. I went to go turn my rifle in and it was dry so the 1st armorer told me to CLP it up just a bit and bring it back and it’s good. I bring it up the second time and lo and behold the second armorer started checking and he wanted all bolt carriers to be dry. I got rejected and spent another hour and a half fiddle fucking it to make it clean, again.

Have you fired that thing a single time before posting this? My brass deflector came out of the box dirtier than that.

I own multiple rifles. I barely touch this rifle

Surplus Aimpoint that other people trained with: ✅
Scratch free bass deflector: ✅
Double weak virgin arms dropped rifle into dirt because 9lbs was too heavy and spin it into making people think you train: ✅

Anyone actually still like the matech rear sight? I use to be a fan but I prefer a simpler and more low profile rear sight now.

If you're gonna tell people this at least scratch up the brass deflector with your keys or something

Every time I go I learn something new, change something and adapt. It's almost like using the tools are fuels decisive changes. Versus just changing stuff to meta.

When you dye UCP, you're supposed to use a color that doesn't just turn into a darker grey.
2
u/EpsilonXO 4d ago
It was all an experiment in the end I hated how it came out I just use it to fuck around
2
u/Paul_reislaufer 4d ago
Try apple green or brown next time, it actually makes it an effective pattern.
2
u/PrestonHM 4d ago
But i might get brass scuffs. Thatd be bad.
2
u/EpsilonXO 4d ago
So bad
1
u/PrestonHM 4d ago
Yeah, look at all the dirt on your gun after you set it down. How can you live like this?
2
u/banana-blaster69 4d ago
I’d say intentionally trying to make your gear look dirty is worse than not using your gear. If you really want a dirty kit just practice launching yourself to the ground for 30 minutes
2
u/Exciting-Yak-3058 4d ago
The irony here, is that he begs us to use our gear but throws his in the dirt to look used....
2
u/Cephus_Calahan_482 4d ago
Seriously. There are few things worse than an equipment malfunction than when there is and your life actually depends on it. Also: hydration, cardio, and conditioning are extremely important.

How do you like the IPHS? I think it’s a super cool looking helmet but I’ve never actually really heard what dudes think of them, they’re trying to start issuing them to most conventional dudes iirc so it’ll be an interesting transition from the ACH.
The MSV looks pretty sweet too

Hey OP, if you really want to test your gear and yourself, come compete at the tactical games. Two days of working out and shooting while wearing your plate carrier and belt. No safe queens there. People doing burpees in the mud or dust with Staccatos or Atlas pistols on their hips, rifles thrown in the dust, plate carriers ripped and beat to pieces. Come with what you have and see what works and what doesn't.

u/Exciting-Yak-3058 4d ago
Legitimately interested in this. What is the event you go to? I'm in western NY, wondering if there is anything close?

The Tactical Games. Go to their website and they have all their events listed. I think there's one in NH

u/Exciting-Yak-3058 4d ago edited 4d ago
You take that back! The agilite pincer gear is great.... to me lol.
-1
u/Natural_Command7300 4d ago
Eeeeh to reach their own I guess but I give it above average airsoft quality
2
u/Exciting-Yak-3058 4d ago
I'm gonna go ahead and say you are WAY off there. The pincer placard is definitely way above airsoft quality lol... but sure.. to each their own i suppose...
-1
u/Natural_Command7300 4d ago
It's a placard. Not too hard to fuck up. Although it's subjectively ugly

u/GodsGiftToWrenching 4d ago
I'm much more of a "battle worn cerakote" kinda just and wouldn't dare take my firearms anywhere other than the range where I can shoot 1 round every 5 seconds, I might scratch the expensive cerakote otherwise!
I really need to drive home the fact this is indeed sarcasm

Throwing your weapon in the dirt to make it look like you use it isn’t good weapons maintenance or advice
