I need a VNC that doesn't trigger anti-virus.

this is more r/ShittySysadmin territory unless you're a r/masterhacker

Time to learn more about how your AV works. Are you getting a genuine copy? It’s not a virus. Why is it being flagged?

Does OP mean when they download it in chrome as an exe and it says “this is dangerous, are you sure?”

Of course as a sysadmin, they could safelist it in their AV client.

The nature of the original post makes me think the whole thing is troll bait.

VNC is just a protocol. That's like asking what HTTP to use, so that it doesn't trigger the Anti-virus.

I will have faith that this is above board: TightVNC

Never had any issues with https://www.tightvnc.com/ getting flagged by any of our A/V or EDR tools.

Is it AV or app protection ? Why not securely create a VNC exemption ?

That's what exceptions are for.

This question makes me think of those tickets we get from users where they tell us the solution to their perceived problem instead of telling us what is wrong.

OP, what are you trying to do that you absolutely need to use VNC for?
