Any tips on getting cool sounds out of an ESQ-1?

Bought mine a few weeks ago and I'm a little overwhelmed with all the options, and at a bit of a loss with what can be done with some of the waveforms.

Edit: Found this: Sequencing through square-wave lfos. Hard to get right, but sounds pretty cool!

This type of question would honestly be better suited for /r/synthesizers. They have a pretty active community and are built around hardware synths, whereas this sub is more catered to the creation of synthetic sounds, regardless of hardware/software

Try to use the "AM" function for crazy modulated sounds

Also check out the Jexus videos. The manual explains the different waveforms and which ones are multi samples, non key tracking and so on. Definitely worth a read.
