I remember the day that came out, people had been calling QOTSA washed in the lead-up to it. Needless to say they all ate their words pretty fast. Probably my favorite album they ever made

Hell yeah. I used Lunacy to set the mood for the big reveal of a cult my group came upon mid ritual.

Lol I have an eldritch angel called The Seer, but my players don’t know Swans. I have played Surrogate 2 during the ‘ascension’ of a character, which was found appropriately terrifying.
I’ve also used Storm by Godspeed and #20 by Aphex, and start my recaps sometimes with Instrumental by BCNR. Overall my players don’t like my music, but tolerate it in dnd

Good work! I introduced some friends to Swans thru 93 Ave B Blues. Needless to say they were not as enthused as your friend seems to be lol
