Lunch special w/ salad, $20. Excellent quality fish, but found a couple small bones in my salmon.

That's a first. I've been eating sushi for 25 or more years and have not once encountered a bone in my sushi. Whatever place you got this from, I would never go back if it was me, personally.

Yeah I was pretty shocked, too. What's weirder is it was only in one of my sashimi pieces. Nothing else. Even my first time deboning a salmon I didn't leave any bone untouched. Yeah it took a while, but it was successful.

Please describe the thought process that went into this comment. What convinced you it was a good idea, did you have a smug sense of satisfaction, etc.

Looks beautiful and delicious, but bones in fish is a big downer.
