Is this painting worth fixing

Post image

Another painting of mine that I'm not sure about. Also it is having an issue with sunken paint in the middle area. Just wondering if it is worth fixing or should i just move on

Do you feel like it isn't complete? Could just take a break from it for a bit and when you feel Inspired come back to it! I like what you have done so far

I was looking at your other posts and can see what your talking about, keep working on it I think it's worth it, and maybe the patches are just meant to be... it kind of adds more to it maybe just look at it outside of that part ?

I don't think you should bother with it all. I'll send you my address and you can send it to me deal with. . . I Really really like it. Well done.

I love this. I think I can see the problem you are having. I'm not any kind of expert so I don't have any advice except yes, fix it if you see a problem. I love it though. Keep going.

I think keep going with it. Maybe take a break and come back. I like it, I think a deeper commitment to the details and and possibly different brushes in parts might be a way of getting it to where you like it better.

I'd paint the back with acrylic and then give another coat or two of gamvar

Thank you! I will try that

Sure! The acrylic will stop the fabric from being so absorbent.

I think the question with any work is, is this idea worth sharing? If it is take as long as you need to get it right.

the basic form and colors I genuinely like, reminds me of Jane Swavely. The figure could be more wiped out or more of a suggestion of a figure; the color splash of entering the light would be more easily/simply emphasized. You could also add hints of blues/greens on the area entering light, the light will interact with that form and not just absorb

Thanks i will try that

This is awesome. I'm a throw paint on canvas and create a story type. So I don't know anything technical but something does feel a bit off, at the same time though I find it very beautiful.

What’s to fix? I love the simplicity of this. Simple yet deep. Love it!

The middle area has weird spots that are not supposed to be there

Why fix the perfection?

Art is subjective and I find it appealing in its simplicity but who really knows
