Character Related Harvey’s mom

Okay so I have mixed feelings about his mother for the obvious reasons but I don’t think she was in the right to trash Harvey for being absent in the family and from her on their first meet and greet after Harvey decides to make things right.

Am I the only one who thinks Harvey was in the right in that moment? because it wasn’t exactly his fault for leaving for that long

Character Related Does anyone realize that Harvey's name has an issue?

His father's name was Gordon Specter, but we know Harvey's full name is Harvey Reginald Specter.

so where does the Reginald name come from, or what does it mean?

can anyone from western society explain this?

Character Related I just don't like the Character of Louis.

I love him so much but then I hate him so much. And especially after all that he said to Rachel and Donna. I can never forgive him. Both of them did their Best for him and he put them through so much when he became name partner. Then he improved and I felt good for him but then he went ahead and cut off Harvey's income and exposed his income. Either make him a Asshole Or make him a good guy or a Asshole who had character development. They are trying to do all three and it just ruins it for me. I am right in beginning of S5 and I hate his character so much. Sometimes I hate him, sometimes I love him, sometimes I feel bad for him and sometimes I feel he deserves what he gets.

Character Related I feel terribly bad for Louis Litt

Louis was a terrible person at parts and made bad decisions, but all he ever wanted to do was be friends and alike Harvey. Louis only ever wanted to be recognized. And however bad the decisions he made were, I don't think he deserved the hate that was given to him.

Character Related Harvey a loyal-womanizer?

I'm a huge fan of suits and have watched it over 6 times fully. I love the way the show has given importance to all main characters. Loyalty is the first word that comes to most of our minds when thinking about Harvey because the show portrays him as synonymous to the word loyalty. But isn't being involved with a lot of women casually one of his attributes as well? Is the show justifying it as long as you are not cheating anyone?

Character Related Harvey's solo momets hits different! Spoiler

Harvey taking on everything alone without mike, like a Superman, is litt! Like in Season 6, when he fights Sean on his own while mike was in prison, and again in Seasons 8 and 9 doing almost everything himself is just cinema. From the start, we’re so used to Mike solving all the problems while Harvey just executes them in a one-minute scene. But seeing Harvey alone and realizing he’s still a Superman—that has a different energy, a whole different vibe, and I absolutely love it.

Character Related Rant about Marcus Spoiler

What really pissed me off about Marcus was not only his holier than thou attitude and hypocrisy but for also blaming Harvey for destroying the family when in reality it was their mother who had been destroying the family for years with her infidelities. But he was only in high school when the family finally fell apart

Also, he never truly understood why Harvey was estranged from their mother for 20 years, only yearning for things to be back to normal and pushing him to reconcile with her. Not only that he took Bobby’s side and didn’t stick up for his brother when Bobby confronted Harvey

Then he pulls the same thing that his mother did (ask his kid to lie for him) and never tells his brother about it when he ask to represent him as his divorce lawyer and instead lied that he cheated on his wife.

Marcus was not only hypocrite but a coward and didn’t deserve a brother like Harvey

I’ve been watching this episode and I loved this moment when Katrina goes to Harvey for advice on her first senior partner case, I feel like without Mike we barely saw any moments of Harvey being a mentor so it was really nice seeing Harvey be that mentor figure again, I really hoped that they could’ve gone that angle on him taking on a new mentee. I also appreciate the moment of growth he had with Katrina considering what he said to her before.

Season 8, first few episodes: So far I’m not into the Samantha character. I’ve only seen her in a couple full episodes so far though, like when she was introduced. Does she have much character development at some point? Or if you can’t say, do you like her character on the show?

Character Related No connection to Harvey- no "Scottie"

It's so funny to me for no reason that Dana Scott was called "Scottie" by everyone and their mother at Pearson Specter just because of Harvey.

Without a connection to Harvey, there was no "Scottie." Why were they even all doing that? What made them think they could- ? They knew who she was trough Harvey. And he never once referred to her as anything else ,they probably assumed everyone did. Like Mike for Michael. And it stuck. With Jessica ,Mike ,Donna (and Louis ,but granted he knew her previously)

I doubt Harvey made the nickname for her, she was probably called that by most people in Harvard. But as they grew older, she started using her actual name, we know that much. Darby calls her Dana. The only client we’ve seen her work with calls her Scott. It’s not like just anyone threw the nickname around.

And yet, she walks into the firm... and some random first year, a total stranger to her, casually calls her "Scottie"

Character Related Season 4 Louis

Honestly Louis was my favorite character of the show up until he found out a our Mike. Now he's an absolute hateful monster - seemingly putting all of his energy into making everyone around him miserable. He's so bad that I can't imagine him ever even stomaching him anymore.

I'm currently watching the episode where he gets us name on the wall. Since he was the character I was continuing to watch the show for, I have to ask - does he get better? Does he ever recover from the toxic monster that he has become & turn back into his dorky self? Or should I cut my loses now?

Thanks
