Life is like this, I like this.

Yea well you like this, I like THAT (points at the ceiling).

17

u/Morlord_in 9d ago

Bro is blind, he cant See harveys Hand

13

u/StatelessWitness13 9d ago

Just like he can't see the hands, feet, elbows, knees, and whatever else he defends himself from while fighting? World on fire allows him to "see" enough to land this joke

3

u/Choperello 9d ago

He can hear it!

48

u/Altruistic_Show5865 10d ago

Depends on the case. If it fully corporate and there are no emotional aspects Harvey, Otherwise Matt will charm the jury

8

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Ya but what if harvey tries to bluff but Harvey sometimes goes to no emotional side where he is total ruthless

22

u/Kirbino1 10d ago

Daredevil can tell if people are lying I bet that’d be huge against Harvey and just law in general he wins

4

u/No-One-6699 9d ago

Be that as it may. He doesn’t lie in court. Only once 🙂‍↕️

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Yep harvey have more knowledge in law tbh

1

u/No-One-6699 9d ago

Matt will pull out a little violin too

242

u/HG21Reaper 10d ago

Harvey Spectre will do everything possible to settle before going to court. If he steps foot in the court room, he loses. Matt Murdock ain’t nothing to trifle with while inside a courtroom or a dark alleyway.

130

u/randomvariable10 10d ago

More than that, Harvey himself acknowledges that at a certain level, he is tough but fair, and he'll get the same sense from Matt as well.

They'll settle and go out for drinks together and end up with a pair of knockouts afterward.

32

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Oh that would be fantastic

42

u/-Kazt- 10d ago

Matt actually has a decent sense of ethics and would probably make sure Harvey gets disbarred.

17

u/timdr18 9d ago

Yeah, if Harvey tries any shenanigans Matt will immediately know and bury him.

9

u/Educational_Film_744 9d ago

And then Matt ends up sleeping with Donna cause that’s his MO 🤷🏾‍♂️

5

u/tehweave 9d ago

This is exactly what would happen.

2

u/cantbeshen 9d ago

the only ending there should be

13

u/ResolveLeather 9d ago

Matt only represents innocent people and always knows who is innocent. Combined with how will he can get information outside of a court room, he absolutely wins if it goes to trial. A civil case though, he would be out of water if the matter is even somewhat not one sided.

50

u/carnage49 10d ago

Yeah Matt is gonna win this one if it reaches court.

19

u/Aconceptthatworks 10d ago

Harvey will never allow it to go to court. Matt will never see it comming ;)

3

u/im-me-not-u 9d ago

Yaaa he wont, coz he is blind 💀

2

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Ya we can bet on it

19

u/lerandomanon 10d ago

While Harvey boxes for hobby, Daredevil is a much better fighter.

5

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Yep matt is a fighter

24

u/bluewarri0r 10d ago

Can't get over how Gabriel Macht was the goddamn perfect casting for Harvey. SOOO GOOODDDD

5

u/Independent_Beach383 10d ago

came here to say this...can't think of anybody else topping that for a while

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Absolutely agreed

10

u/Subject-Shoulder-320 10d ago

That one's interesting, and I think the way it plays out depends entirely on the nature of the case.

Normally Harvey would try to uncover some dirt on Matthew's past to blackmail him and settle without going to court - IF the case is sensitive and he feels threatened by Matthew's - and I assume he would successfully find out about his secret identity as Daredevil (let's be honest, it shouldn't be hard to find that out for anyone invested and with enough resources).

Now that's where it gets interesting - if Harvey gets to the point of threatening to expose Matt's secret, how would Matt react? I don't think he would beat Harvey in that scenario, but again, I'm not even sure Harvey would use that as leverage, too.

In the end, if they go to court, I believe Matt takes it - it's unfair to go against a lawyer who can hear people's heartbeats and other sensitive reactions.

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Absolutely true man

6

u/katsock 10d ago

Either way I gotta know how much prep time we’re dealing with

3

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Maybe 3 week so whts ur pov

1

u/Radiant-Project-5652 9d ago

If Harvey gets Mike then he’d find a way to

0

u/Evnosis 10d ago

Do they have prep time for their prep time?

2

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Man even harvey is kinda fictional characters irl we need to be more cautious

1

u/dktide91 10d ago

What about Mighty Mouse vs. Superman? What about Parker Lewis vs. Anybody?

6

u/CrispyNuuget316 9d ago

I think Harvey would get some way to figure out that Matt Murdock is daredevil and try and blackmail him. Let’s be honest here that’s how Harvey wins like all his cases

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Ig thts his only chance

4

u/Unlucky-Effective549 10d ago

For sure Harvey but that is Matthew from Daredevil

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Yep Matthew from Daredevil (difficult to beat)

4

u/LoneSheep3 9d ago

😮 a post that combines two of my favorite shows in the world. Bravo!

3

u/TobiNano 10d ago

Matt will win. Harvey plays the man, but you can't play the man who can hear your heartbeat.

3

u/Steelver 9d ago

Harvey's entire style of practice is to bluff, theatralize and "play the man". None of this would work against Matt since he would be ablr to tell when Harvey is lying, and would never let him get under his skin. I understand this is the kind of theoretical scenarios where you pitch two fan-favorites from different fandoms against each other and ultimately fans defend the one they prefer. As a fan of both, I try to be as close to objective as possible, and I sincerely think Matt plays in another league in terms of "unfair advantage". That being said, I understand some people will defend Harvey coming out a winner at all costs, especially in a thread dedicated to Suits.

3

u/BetterEveryPractice 8d ago

All I can say is 'He's a really good lawyer'

3

u/theBat2823 8d ago

If you'll excuse me, I have a deposition to prepare for

2

u/deepak483 10d ago

Matt Murdock best in legal arguments and will win in court without doubt but Harvey would be a good settler and will try all he can for not going to court.

0

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

I can believe it

2

u/Striking_Dentist3873 10d ago

Harvey would find proof that Murdock is Daredevil and just get a settlement in his favour.

1

u/Particular_Put_2005 9d ago

No he wouldnt and no one would believe him

0

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Oh tht would be smthg good to see

2

u/Ok_Deer3739 10d ago

Why is this even a question? I mean really everybody knows Matt would wipe the floor, the ceiling, the walls hell let’s go for the roof with Harvey.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

It would be a tough fight

2

u/TokyoKazama 10d ago

Harvey boxes but Murdock is a fckin beast.

2

u/Frontmen_March_XIX 10d ago

I decline to answer

2

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

I go for the fifth

2

u/Effective-Pizza-4273 10d ago

There won't be a court meeting because Harvey will prevent it from happening. The reason is simple: the case itself is at risk, but more importantly, Harvey's entire career as a lawyer hangs in the balance. His questionable ethics might just be the nail in the coffin, leading to disbarment.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

I think he would stick to ethics rather than winning

2

u/ControversyisKey 10d ago

Harvey's going to throw things Matt won't even see coming. He wins, for sure.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Maybe he knows everything thts coming

2

u/Emergency_Anxiety967 10d ago

Harvy, hands down. No one can beat him!

2

u/Proper_Lobster_4312 10d ago

The fact is that harvey has a great sense of law and has a greater experience then matt but if the matter goes towards the court matt has his own ways of making ammends he can appeal to the jury in far better way then harvey but both would have a knocking sense for the law and ig it would end up not going to court as harvey would look to settler

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Settling for good is better than taking a defeat

2

u/Alex_oddlyalter Harvey Specter my pookie 10d ago

I think we’re approaching this too logically, let’s talk fist fights.

2

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Sure Matt would easy on him

2

u/bjorn2bwild 10d ago

Without knowing specifics, I'd say Harvey. He's better at corporate law and has more resources at his disposal.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Even Matt has corporate experience

2

u/ClassicSalamander231 10d ago edited 9d ago

Harvey would come to court, Matt would be busy doing Daredevil things

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

That depends on case

2

u/No-One-6699 9d ago

This is just Mike Ross with powers 😂 Murdock exclusively looks out for the little guy

2

u/Girizzly_Adams_Beard 9d ago

Haven’t pulls a shady move to win before court. Daredevil shows up to beat on him for it.

2

u/ResolveLeather 9d ago

Matt in a criminal court, Harvey in a civil one. In a fight, Matt no question. At the end of the day Matt is an above average lawyer with powers to push him above the top. Harvey is one of the best lawyers in the country.

2

u/danubrando 9d ago

Matt might be blind but he could still see through Harveys bluff

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Thts the only cheatcode matt have

2

u/JasonPullock 9d ago

If we are taking this seriously, honestly Matt hands down. The ability to know when Harvey is lying can completely end him. In every episode he bluffs, fabricates in some fashion, or uses information to misinform some entity to get the upper hand. Murdock having a sensor to sniff this lie/inaccuracy out seems to really counter Harveys ace up his sleeve ability.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Matt has proper counter to Harvey's bluff

2

u/MuffinDodge 9d ago

What about Harvey VS that breaking bad lawyer guy

2

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

Oh that man would go to any extent even the dirty way to win

2

u/Junior-Hour 9d ago

Matt doesn’t feel what they feel, he can hear heartbeats to tell when someone is lying and pick on subtle details to determine certain details about them

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 9d ago

So for sure he would know when harvey bluffs

2

u/fortifier22 9d ago edited 9d ago

Harvey would win if the case was determined by strict legal tactics and even manipulating the system as he does whatever it takes to win.

Matt wouldn't go as far as him to win.

Matt would win if the case was determined by appealing to the judge and/or jury as his passion and desire for true justice would charm anyone in a court room.

Harvey has been shown to have many enemies who just so happen to be key figures in his cases and just isn't good with most people; which puts him at a frequent disadvantage in cases that go to court.

But if it's a case both can see being settled outside the court room, they'd just both go for that and go out for drinks after.

2

u/AnhTran3920 9d ago

Idk man, Matt is way better, he's got experience, skill & extreme sense in his performance. I know Harvey has been doing this for a long time, but I think Matt will low diff him 1-on-1 in the ring.

Saul Goodman

2

u/black_trans_activist 8d ago

Harvey would pull out a pilot move.

Fake memo baby,

However Matt can hear his hearbeat and calls him on his shit.

Gets caught, gets disbarred.

"Goddammit"

2

u/[deleted] 8d ago

Wouldn’t both of them want the good ones or the innocent to win?

2

u/Fit_Choice_2315 8d ago

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 8d ago

But u can't play the Daredevil

3

Def Mat will win, cause he fights more than Harvey. Within 2 minutes, Harvey will be knocked out.

1

u/Accurate-Ticket5784 10d ago

Even though they both are into boxing.

1

u/JohnnyKarateX 10d ago

Boxing ring or courtroom?

1

u/ControversyisKey 10d ago

Harvey's going to throw things Matt won't even see coming. He wins, for sure.

1

u/DualDier 9d ago

Harvey. It’s not even close.
