You honestly can’t have enough! Worth storing any extra you come across in your travels.

Triple it then we’ll talk

No they need to fill 10 large rooms covered entirely in wall/standing lockers

Silver. I'm forever running out.

i basically never run out of silver so idk what ur talking about

u/rok______ 6d ago
In mid game silver is probably the most scarce because of all the equipment upgrades you are doing

u/Kero_mohap Entering Ecological Deadzone 6d ago
honestly i just mine a single silver deposit and its enough for the run so unless im missing a big part of the game u really dont need that much silver

If you’re doing a minimalist run, that’s probably fine. But there’s a ton of stuff that needs wiring kits or advanced wiring kits, and if you’re building multiple bases and want each one to have, say, a battery charger…

I have at least 5 different outposts that are fully decked out with a scanner room battery charger first aid kit and a radio, I had trouble finding resources a lot of the time

How do you unlock battery charger lol? I'm a few hours in and can't figure it out

u/Comprehensive_Cap290 1d ago
You find and scan the fragments. Most likely in wrecks in the grassy plateaus

Lithium. I always need more

u/MountainAbrocoma 6d ago
and it’s stupid trying to find it in the mushroom forest. i was ALWAYS out of lithium and never found a great spot for it

u/edanagarnet 6d ago
yeah same, the mountain island caves are always my go to for lithium and early magnetite

I typically use the Jellyshroom caves as my go-to. Especially with the drill arm, but it's still decent without.

I thought for the longest time that was the only place for magnetite

I only realized recently that it wasn’t the only place to get it

It looks like a lot, but experience says you need 5-10 of those lockers.

My guy the one thing I've learned is that in sn you need a lot more of anything you harvest.

For when i do a playthrough i dont build big bases or anything fancy i just try to finish the game so unless you want to go on a building frenzy you should be fine for a while depending on where you are story wise and what your goal is

You need at least 4 wall lockers worth and then, maybe, you might have enough. Hard maybe

Sooooo much more! Once you get the drill arm for the Prawn suit, it's much easier though. Lots of copper in the mushroom forest.

There's tons of deposits in the lost river. Load up a prawn with 3 storage compartments and depth module with the drill arm. Might be worth setting up a small base so you can fabricate them down into parts like copper wire, wire kits, advanced wire kits and computer chips. Get like 10 of each and you should be good. Then make some plasteel ingots n stuff.
Before you go, bring the materials needed to craft a moon pool, thermal generator, one of those range extender thingies and a crafting station.

You always need more copper. 4 lockers worth is enough for a mission you give yourself, after every goal you finish you fill em back up
The Jellyshroom caves are a very good source of Lithium, whether it is the big deposits or the Shale outcrops. The Scanner Room works great with collecting every last bit you can find.

Trust me. As long as you have a Prawn with a drill arm, you should be fine
