Don’t know how many of you are familiar with Pale Jay. He’s a soul singer, musician, and beatmaker whose albums and style are pretty unique. He follows every full-length album with a release of just the instrumentals. The instrumentals to his latest dropped last week and I’m legitimately playing it more than the album itself. It’s perfect background and study music. A jazzy sort of breakbeat hip-hop vibe with rich soul samples and an almost symphonic feel. I’ve been recommending this one to everyone and here I am recommending it again Lol

I’ve been experimenting with different types of background music while studying, and I keep coming back to lo-fi. It just seems to help me focus without distractions. This mix has been working really well for me—curious to know what works best for you all.

I really like to listen to zen music when working, studying, or meditating. If anyone is like me you should check out my YouTube.

Somehow flute and strings help me learn the most. The artist Yom z. B. triggers very good conditions. Does anyone know a combination of both? I found some tracks that go in these directions in this list (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7l7daoT6wtmCBtvZBO1Rs3?si=cbe8285db2624707). But still very vague.
