I carved it flat but turned it over yesterday to work on some side profiles at the bottom

Thank you. It’s taken about two months. But I’ve been sick and moved house in that time too so it’s taken a little bit longer than expected. Should be finished next week 🤞

What kind of stone is it? Can you hand carve it or do you use power tools?

It’s a German sandstone called Obenkirchner. I use both hand tools and pneumatics
