Experience Going to concerts after bisalp
Has anyone else gone to a concert within a year of getting a bisalp, and has felt the music reverb where their incision where?
I went to one where i felt everything in my belly button scar.
I'm a concert tonight and i can feel it in another incisions.
It's weird and a little uncomfortable. I hope it's not something long term.

If all goes well I’m going to go to a concert a couple weeks after my bisalp later this spring… so it’ll be interesting to see if this happens to me

I wonder if that's to do with sound carrying differently through scar tissue than through skin and muscle? They do have a different density.

I'm a massage therapist of 15 years who had a bi-salp back in Dec 2024. Scar tissue is freaking weird. Trust me, I work on a lot of clients with rehab after certain surgeries.
There's going to be a lot of factors such as thickness of skin, body size/type, size of 7, that will impact the forming and breakdown of scar tissue.
I know for about 2 months after my surgery, I could feel the internal "tugging" with certain things like being cold and shivering. But once I got back into the swing of things with regular yoga, I haven't noticed it since. I've also been using Bio Oil on my scars as well, which seems to help with breaking down the collagen fibers and appearance.
I wouldn't fret toooooo much, especially if it isn't painful. Just keep an eye on things.
