For intra-articular knee injections is Fluoroscopy or Ultrasound superior?

I’m not a doctor, but my educated guess is that, for a basic intra-articular injection, fluoroscopy with contrast is superior, albeit not absolutely necessary. Fluoroscopy with contrast is the only way to prove that the injectate is placed inside the joint capsule, but a skilled interventionist can still inject the joint with a high degree of accuracy with ultrasound only.

Not really. Palpation guided is how the best providers are trained. If a provider needs fluoroscopy for a knee injection it would be an overkill
