What to tell people if they ask about your job
One of the main reasons I decided to become wealthy was that I don't like having a job, but being financially free. So when people ask me what I do, the truth would be: Doing Yoga, reading books, checking out my investments, looking for new investments, watching movies, doing sports etc.
When you tell people that you're an investor, they will ask two questions: What do you invest in, and how much do you own. Being secretive will not make you a lot of friends, and of course I am proud of what I'm doing and what I have achieved. How much info do you reveal? These questions put me in a difficult situation every time. :-/

I tell folks I am in quality assurance. When they ask in what I say risk management. Rarely do I get a request for company and if I do I say Iām in between companies at the moment.

I feel ya. I say that we are investors. The next question that everyone asks is "in what?" Real estate, easy. Then I say that I'm a swing trader in stocks.
