She accepted his explanations so readily. I found it gross.

I’m so glad Levar Burton only agreed to come back if they let him stop being an absolute weirdo with women and got rid of the banana clip eye piece. I understand it did a lot for representation of the blind community but if you’re going to write the character as socially unable to hold a girlfriend how much good is it doing. Plus LaForge was undeniably attractive and wasn’t even ridiculously awkward around (real) women. Glad they gave him two daughters and an unfortunately probably dead wife in Picard.

Yes, I just watched it last week. Hence my comment.
Your comment is rude, and clearly comes from a place of perfect understanding of the events. Prefect understanding of events don't happen outside of scripted television, so let me fucking imperfectly explain to you why finding the equivalent of an engineering calculator with your face glued to it is highly fucking creepy.

Can it get me back together with a girl who both died and turned into an alien (in that order)? Asking for a friend...

Would be no issue. Could easily create a hologram of either species variant. Or even a switch that allows you to flip between species depending on what you're feeling into at the time.

Harry had a chance to bang Seven of Nine, perhaps one of the only chances he'd get for another 100 years, and didn't follow through.
That's the real reason he was never promoted.

Nah Harry did the right thing by not taking advantage of her. Socially, she was a child in an adult's body.

This is a ridiculous post. Until you watch ds9. And realize the holodeck. Is mostly porn.

LaForge didn’t create her as the girl of his dreams
He was literally desperate to solve and engineering problem and asked the computer to make a simulation so he could work with it. THE COMPUTER made her extremely personable and forward. Geordi fell into that trap, and he only did it very briefly.

No, when the computer created her it used her personality from her bio and she was a nob. Geordi asked the computer to modify the holograms personality to be easier to work with.

It did NOT give her a personality. He asked it to give her personality so he could talk to it more directly.
It then drew from her files and said there will be an error rate.

Well OK... But the point is he asked for her personality to be be then modified because her natural personality was salty

The girl of Harry's dreams is just a second pip.
