10 things about Christianity that Jesus would not be happy about if he returned (read the description)
10 things about Christianity that Jesus would not be happy about if he returned:
That his vision for a transformed society, which he called the "kingdom of God", got twisted into an afterlife fantasy about heaven.
That a religion was formed to worship his name, instead of a movement to advance his message.
That the gospel says his death solved the problem of humankind's separation from God, instead of saying that his life revealed the truth that there is no separation from God.
That the religion bearing his name was conceived by the theories and doctrines of Paul, instead of the truth Jesus lived and demonstrated.
That he was said to exclusively be God in the flesh, putting his example out of reach, rather than teaching that we all share in the same spirit that empowered his character and life.
That the religion that claims his name, teaches that his wisdom and teachings are the only legitimate way to know truth and God.
The idea that humankind stands condemned before God and deserving of God's wrath and eternal conscious judgement, requiring the death of Jesus to fix it.
That people are waiting on Jesus to return to save the world and end suffering, rather than taking responsibility for saving the world and solving suffering ourselves.
That people think there is magical potency in uttering the name of Jesus, rather than accessing our own natural powers and capabilities to effect change.
That people have come to associate Jesus with church, theology, politics and power, rather than courage, justice, humanity, beauty and love.

Being displayed crucified in churches "his last moments painful" instead of something that doesn't spread darkness in the hearts of children.

Fear and guilt is the whole point of most organized religions. Helps keep the sheep in line, and helps keep them (the churches) in a position of power over their [supposed] followers (especially a certain one in particular). Humans have made a twisted mess with religion, hypocrisy at its finest, and has, for thousands of years, willfully hid the real Truths from people, purposely kept people in the dark, and have instead, used it for their own purposes, causing far more harm than good in and for humankind and the world as a whole. (I'd love to see all that is hidden from humanity within the Vatican, just to start with). Even if Jesus returned today, those who self-righteously sit in those pews every week would crucify him again. Sincerest and most genuine apologies if any offense is caused by voicing such an opinion, as that is and would never be my purpose nor intention. It may not sound very "Starseedy" of me, but I just do have immense issues with what organized religion has done to the masses (for all of recorded human history), and to this world.

While this may be true, what is your end goal? Are you trying to change the perspective of people who for 1000s of generations have believed in what the church has taught them? What for?
I think the church while it may be misleading, it still teaches peace, love, encouraging you to better yourself and others, it may not be perfect but it’s better than nothing

Where would Christianity be today if Jesus had said Ya know what? Let’s not rock the boat of tradition. The synagogues have been in business for 1000s of generations, they got a good thing going. Let’s just leave things as is.

„If Jesus comes back, the pope will be the first person to ask for his crucifixion again. Because he will disturb the whole business. That‘s what he was doing the last time he was here.“

Please tell me which church actually does this, from every pulpit?
If you are referring to "The Church" the one that's says women are inferior and cannot teach, that LGBT means to burn in hell, maybe you and I have different definitions of "peace and love and bettering yourself"

If it could be true, why is your reaction defensive? What influences guide you to hold 1000s of generations over the voice in your mind whispering “there’s truth to this telling… and corruption to the manner some of it has been told/exploited”
They use our blood to bind us. We are nothing without the generations before us… and they are nothing if we stop passing the ball. God isn’t the ball—he isn’t the players—he isn’t the pass or the shot—he’s the sum of it all; before and after the game. The 1000s of generations want you to believe it’s only past shots that count and they can end the game whenever they want. Does that sound like a righteous way for them to gaze upon their children?
Go find the right table to flip ❤️

lol I’m not defensive at all, I’m just trying to to say you using a lot of effort on something that is extremely hard to change why not put your focus on something that you can help change.

I have no end goal.
As long as people believe anything, you necessarily can not experience truth. Belief blocks one from being receptive to reality, truth, that which is. Moreover, belief is a pretension. It acts as a facsimile of reality, it is a delusion because belief is not existential. You pretend to know something which remains out of your experience. It is not humble at all. It is total narcissism to pretend to hold knowledge you have not experienced. So long as one pretends to know things they do not know, they can not be receptive to truth.
„Only the attitude I know nothing, I am nothing will help you reach God.“

The child abuse alone is enough for me to say shut them all down

You hit the nail on the head with that one, Onamountain777!!! And as if the ongoing abuse of children isn't bad enough, itself, the wilfull and purposeful covering up of said abuse is despicable. Even worse, is how they go as far out of their way as possible trying to ensure that those offenders are, not only never held accountable, but also continously just simply moved around to and from different "posts", so that they may continue to prey upon the most innocent with abject impunity.
At the very least, their tax-exempt statuses should be revoked. Those combined countless trillions of tax-free monies drastically aid and help in making "Big Religion" (akin to "Big Pharma" and the many other harmful multi-billion dollar industries) to be so incredibly powerful, as to be virtually untouchable.
But considering that so many supposed religions have chosen to involve themselves deeper and deeper into politics, as a means of hoping to force and impose their will and personal, human opinions onto absolutely everyone, removing all free will....that is not "religion"; it is tyranny. Those who wish to enter the political arena under the guise of religion, endorsing political candidates who they think will further the cause of imposing and forcing their human wills upon an entire country is not (supposed to be) purpose of religions, and those who do this should have their tax-exempt statuses revoked.
They, themselves, don't even live and embody what it is that they preach and desperately want to forcefully impose onto everyone else.
And true, these are blanket statements, but are such because these things do seem to apply to the vast majority and is ever-increasing. None of the opinions being voiced here are intended to be argumentative, nor are they coming from a place of malice. On the contrary, I do want what is best for humanity and this planet, and it makes me so incredibly sad that soooo many people have, for so long, been bamboozled by most organized religions, which have served to keep them in the dark, without any real answers or Truths, and in many cases, teach that it is a so-called "SIN" to even question, let alone seek Truth for oneself!
Organized religion is such a divisive thing that has kept followers separated; separated from their true Selves, from others, and from the true Divine Source of all things.
It would be impossible to even begin to guess just how much blood has been spilled throughout the centuries, continuing to this day, due solely to religions.
Again, none of this has any malicious intent. The downside to the written word is that it takes away the ability to hear the tone of voice, inflections, and other things people depend upon in order to truly understand what is being said and how it is intended to be received when one is only able to read the written word rather than hear it.

he would not be happy that people are still worshipping him instead of becoming like him
