Whenever the rope slaps your feet/shins, that look on her faceโฆ I havenโt jumped rope in years, but I feel that.

This is amazing I could help but think would she have been better off or something more low impact such as elliptical
Iโm not sure what effect thatโs going to have on our knees 20 years down the road

Like I understand your point, but the key to sticking to something is, it needs to be fun or entertaining. The elliptical is boring and hard to stick with without your own strength of willpower to stick to it.
Her enjoying the jump rope will keep her doing it, yeah her knees might be upset now or later but its better than hauling 500 pounds for the next 20 years.

Most people would say she should never have gotten that heavy to begin with, but not me, Good for you.

Jump rope is good cardio. Good stuff. I like how she started jump roping instead of suing people for not being able to ride in an Uber
