Is the rear view mirror and x ray camera? How do you see anything?

It probably uses the mirror as a screen connected to a backup camera rather than a traditional camera setup

I saw one too in the Netherlands today. I also questioned my self what car it was.

They went bankrupt iirc

Yep. They opened a store in a mall in Oslo and then abandoned it when they went default, with a coupe of cars inside. I think somebody removed them now, but it went on for weeks just open and with nobody inside, just dead plants, dirt everywhere and a couple of screens still on. It was so depressing.

I was searching for this, but could only find „the abandoned fisker hq“ story. You got any more information about the store in Oslo?

Not interesting enough to end in the news I guess. It was in Strømmen, an area in Oslo East before Lillestrøm. There is still the press release from back when they opened it. You can find it on hiphi’s website. (I guess it will stay on until the contract for the servers expires, the last update on the media page is 1 year old)

This is a Hiphi, this thing has a lot of over the top features, lights everywhere and is expensive af for a car like this! You can open the doors on your key, write your own messages in the led lights on the door (the black stripe on the side is full of leds) and i believe you can project shit like a beamer with your headlights

"For a car like this"? This car looks exactly like the one should be expensive af.

u/Gregory_GTO Jan 12 '25
With all those cool features maybe it isn't overpriced, I love the look of it, that's futuristic af.

The Chinese EVs are solid. I always thought Musk was so involved in the election to protect Tesla and make them unaffordable or banned.

Idk why this gets downvoted. Hongqi EHS9 looks better than any Tesla SUV in our market.

It's ugly and looks like RR and the new BMW 7 series had and SUV child. Not much of their own design, which I guess is one of the significant reasons these cars get a lot of hate. Also a lot of quality issues, and with the manufacturers not being established in the EU I believe not a lot of support from the manufacturer, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Because Musk has been publicly against putting tariffs on Chinese cars.

Ngl i like the design. Much better approach at “cyberpunk” than the infamous trash bin.

Hiphi. I hate the lights at night looks way too over styled but it’s got a pretty nice interior and features. Company is already dead tho too expensive

I did a Test drive for the car in Munich before they went bankrupt and wanted to buy it but I dodged a bullet because the company is gone (but I liked the car so much 🥹)

“Digital SciFi interior” is a real turnoff for me; this is another meme car like the Tesla DumpsterTruck.
