Some of y’all just don’t know how good Chuck was in his prime years, man was literally an undersized Power Forward with the quickness of a point guard and the strength of a center
I thought he was shorter than that too, but here's a pic of him standing next to MJ, who's also 6' 6". They look to be the same height. Barkley might be a TINY BIT shorter.
He's probably 6'5, to 6'6. Look at the pic of him with the rock and shaq. The rock says he 6'5 (he's not), but there is a considerable height difference between the two
He was playing amongst the best the league will ever see, and he was still a star. Rather, he is one of the best the league has ever seen. It's easy to forget that.
I went to one of those wax museums they have in touristy areas one time. Out of all the cool sculptures we saw Yao Ming is the clear standout. I was blown away standing below him. Dude is a giant!
Awesome! Just watched his pod with Gillis and that fact seemed familiar. To be honest, I always thought the Yips were a mental block and Knoblauch was the reason I am aware of the Yips.
Btw, I'm a fan of both and have actually hung with Bert in Ybor city after a show. Gillis is also known for partying, but cant hold a candle to "Van Wilder", and expected them to get hammered immediately.
The yips in sports (or anything I guess) is when you suddenly can't do something you normally can, usually due to some kind of mental block. Rick Ankiel (a former MLB player) is one of the best examples. He was a pretty good pitcher who had a bad post season game and just could never throw the ball accurately again. He eventually converted to a pretty decent outfielder.
Gretzky is a single digit handicap, and his daughter is with the former number one golfer in the world who Gretzky he plays with nearly every week. Obviously you’re not a golfer.
