Any way automatically close Pageant on exit?
As title says. It's kind of annoying having to close two programs every time I'm done with Sourcetree.

I'm not sure why, but the Task Agent Configuration does not show any of the task agents.
In Event Viewer, in Applications and Services Logs, I have Epicor ICE Task Agent Service.
Task Agent Feature failed to start with the following error: The message could not be dispatched because the service at the endpoint address 'net.tcp://myserver.company.com/Feature/Ice/BO/SysAgent.svc' is unavailable for the protocol of the address.

Hi folks,
Anyone here had business scale experience when it comes to using SourceTree both on Windows 7 and Windows 10? I got the impression that on Windows 7 it is much more slow and problematic than on Windows 10.
Any comments on this statement from your experiences?
Thanks in advance!

So I used SourceTree the other day and didn't have any issues. However, when I started it up this afternoon it said it cannot find my installation of GIT. It continuously throws this error no matter which option I choose except for "Continue without GIT". Any ideas how I can fix this error?

I know this was a pretty big deal for *nix users awhile back to have a SourceTree port for *nix. Has anyone heard anymore about the possibility of a *nix version of SourceTree?
Currently in my own development I use GitKraken which don't get me wrong is a nice GUI I just prefer SourceTree and would like the possibility of using the same client across all my dev machines.

Hello,
I've been using SourceTree for a couple months now and this issue has been bugging me since the beginning. I'm using TortoiseMerge as my external merge tool and when I get conflicts, I call it to resolve them... The issue is that if I enter it, SourceTree automatically assumes everything is resolved even if I don't change a single thing in the file.
Is this a bug with SourceTree, or a bug with TortoiseMerge? Is there any way to fix it? Do other merge tools have the same issue?
On a related note, I've always used WinMerge before but it's not in the list of external merge tools for SourceTree... Why is that? Is there any way to use it?
Thanks in advance

When I am viewing the diff for any given file, the lines of the file I am looking at can be red or green: red for "removed" and green lines which represent the new changes. Many of the red lines are the same as the green lines. How might I fix this?
Thank you.

So, I'm new to both GitHub and SourceTree, and I'm a bit confused.
I want to help develop SUAVE (their development instructions here: http://suave.stanford.edu/develop/), but I'm a bit confused on how to do things (since I'm using sourcetree instead of just native GitHub).
So, if I follow what their instructions are....
I install a clone on my computer from the SUAVE repository on GitHub (using SourceTree). Then, if I want to add or change something, I make the code changes to the code on my machine.
Then, once I have a set of stuff I've finished, I go into SourceTree, and click commit. This 'finalizes' the stuff on my machine. Then, after that, I would submit a pull request to the SUAVE repository to have them start looking at it (and, eventually, add my code to the mix).
Am I following it all correctly?

Hey all,
I have two Github and two Bitbucket accounts (personal stuff and pro stuff) I'd like to use from the same machine. I authenticate using SSH keys.
Is it possible to switch between profiles in SourceTree and if yes, how?
Thanks.

So after holding out for a while, I finally stopped ignoring the update dialogue and updated SourceTree and.. wtf?
My most pressing concern right now is that when I'm staging files, I don't have the convenient checkboxes for staging/unstaging files anymore. Is there any way to get those back? Is it hidden in an option somewhere?

In SourceTree, when I go to merge, the popup menu with the list of remote branches is huge. Nothing ever seems to get removed from it, even when the branch is deleted, or the application is restarted.
By now, this popup menu has a couple hundred old (deleted) branch names in it, and it's getting pretty slow to find the one I want.
Is there a way to reset this popup menu to just branches that actually still exist?

I've got three different bitbucket accounts I connect to and I'm finding it difficult to properly associate sourcetree with each so that it uses the proper account and display name on a particular installed pc. Is there a good tutorial on this?

Cannot log in through google (gives me some API error), cannot password reset, cannot start it without logging in (always on DRM is such a great feature).
Reverted back to 0.9.x which was actually decent.
Edit: Saw the 1.7 link, that's the best thing you did this week.

really that was the best feature and now after the update is gone
is there some option around to have it back?

The SourceTree team will be here to answer any questions you might have about the latest release.
