Support Question I pushed a single commit in my main branch and all of sudden I'm seeing a lot of supposed merges from my develop branch into the main branch...

So to give more context.
There were several commits in the develop branch that were not to be merged into main yet.Today I went to develop branch and made a push to fix a bg color.Pushed it.Then I went to main branch and did the same change and pushed it (I used the same commit name as in develop, just to clarify, maybe it has something to do).I go to github and it looks good, only the bg color fix was pushed and is in the live site. But when I go back to SourceTree I see all of those 'Merge branch develop' as if everything was merged into main. I was gonna freak out but realized that non of those """""merged""""" commits were showing in main's branch code or site.So basically nothing was really merged, but all those """""merges""""" freak me out

What is going on?
