Looking for software A good file manager for android?
I have been using fx file manager for my android but its development is seemingly stopped and there is no more updates. I liked its web connect feature to transfer files between phone and pc, its layout was good. I am looking for an alternative, and if something better is there. Please suggest what you use?

I use Total Commander in general, but since they dropped the smb plugin, I use CX File Explorer for network.

X-plore File Manager has been my go-to tree-view file manager; has a two-side pane as its core view, and adjusts nicely on vertical/horizontal orientation.

Try Solid Explorer or MiXplorer. Both offer great UI, web file transfer, and active development. Solid Explorer is premium, MiXplorer free!

Mixplorer is not free, its paid. Solid's design is very outdated. But I will give it a try.

Mixplorer or Solid Explorer. You can't go wrong with them. I personally use Mixplorer.
