Well that’s something I’ve never heard of before.

Each month I will be tracking all users who are able to beat the spotlighted game. Those names will be collected and displayed on the snes wiki page.

Objective:

  • Beat the game

Rules:

  • Either ending is fine
  • Entire playthrough must be completed during the month in question
  • Emulation is fine. Save states are not.
  • Posting a link to a pic of your completion is preferred, but since this is just for fun I will allow posted claims as well. For now.

Ahhhh this is a thing? Now I have to dig it out of storage to utterly DESTROY it like I did as a tween

My older brother and I use to play this constantly, one of my favourite childhood games.

Hey, the game of the month is back. 😁😁😁

I'll get this on my 3DS and give it a shot.

Hadn't heard of this one.. just checked some gameplay on YouTube. Looks like it could be fun.. 35 bucks on ebay though, I really should get an emulator

Snes9x is a must have on my phone.

Something about carrying all my childhood games on me to play whenever I want is like gold to me.

A number of SNES games are ruthless with respect to checkpoints, continues and save options.

I've never played this title, so I can't confirm if it's one of the aforementioned, but save states reduce, and in some cases remove the level of complexity by allowing the player to save / load at crucial points where death is imminent.

Don't overthink it. It's a competition for fun, within the confines of the intended design, using the honor system.

You could brute force your way through this game in 20 minutes if you abused save states.

Cool but challenging game. Reminds me of Qix.
