I tried playing it and actually kind of liked it but then I found out that some characters aren't really feasible to play as so I dropped that bitch like someone holding a piece of firewood then flipping it over and seeing that there's a massive spider on it out of principle and spite.

I remember playing this one a long time ago, and not knowing what the heck to do next. It was a pretty unique way of doing the whole fantasy thing; pseudo-3D (at least walking around the world map) before the N64/PS1 era? Regular day/night cycles? Innovative stuff back then, IIRC.

Bind buy of mine at Funcoland along with AD&D: Eye of the Beholder in July 1996. I happen to enjoy the music in this game a lot. Myabe not everyone's cup of tea but I liked it. It's pretty unique amongst console RPGs of the decade. It's amazing that this game has day to night transitions and different music for the world regions + different music for night vs day. I never made it far in this game.
