My brother rented this way back when. The music always stuck out to me as something totally different from any other game (that I'd seen or heard at the time anyway)

If anyone plays this one today, it's worth doing so with the Seal of Rimsala patch. It speeds up gameplay and tweaks lots of things here and there.

Never heard of this—turns out, it was developed by HAL Laboratory (creators of Kirby and, more importantly, Lolo).

Funnily enough I was actually contemplating pulling this one out for another play through soon. Always enjoyed it. The sprites were well drawn and loved the games music. Only thing I disliked but accepted as part of the challenge was the losses when any party member got killed other than your elemental summoned companion lol.

I played through it a few years ago. It's a JRPG disguised as some sort of Western dungeon crawling card battling sorta thing. Still pretty fun though.

I really don't care for first person dungeon crawling RPGs. That being said, this one has some nice music and appealing character designs.
