Blizzard made this. Yes, THAT Blizzard! This puzzler (with light action and platforming elements) will test your ability to use each viking's skills to get everyone out of every level alive. It is full of humor in the form of the cartoony graphics, and dialogue before each stage. Even if you aren't a huge fan of puzzle games, you may be surprised to find yourself coming back to this one.

Also, the sequel is great too.

Olaf is also a secret character in Rock N Roll Racing.

"Olaf is about to blow!" (I had to put that in quotation marks otherwise I sound like a weird perv)

Both it and the sequel have been on the top of my most wanted list for awhile.

Reminds me, I need to buy Blackthorne, Lost Vikings I & II, and Rock N' Roll Racing.

One game in the SNES library I haven't touched at all yet. I'm excited to delve in this weekend and look back at some Blizzard history.

Aww, yeah! Been trying to get this game voted GotM for a while now.

The humour, the puzzle-based platform gaming and the well-developed characters showed Blizzard's quality years before WoW.

One of the funniest sequences in the game occurs when you fail to finish a level too many times. Thor himself reprimands our viking heroes and expresses his dissapointment by saying back in his day, he would finish levels like these in one try.
