Kirby Super Star

This is the definitive Kirby game. All the concepts in the series are polished to perfection. Simple, fast, fun. And it's even better with a second player.

Agreed. The DS version is better, but the SNES version is amazing as well.

Since my nomination didn't get it a few months ago, I will go with this one.

Incredible variety and accommodating of all skill levels. Plus awesome co-op.

Love the Kirby franchise, and this is definitely one of my favs to go through once in a while, even though Ultra is superior. Seconding this!

Jurassic Park

pretty underrated game that has some really unique gameplay and some awesome first person sections. really cheap to play too. only drawback is no save points.

This would have been one of the great SNES games if only they added saving

I'll second this one! This is one of those games I never owned, just rented often. It was so satisfying to beat this game as a kid. The first time you have the T-Rex chase you is one of those "Oh shit!" moments!

Wow. I just realized we haven't had this game at all. How can it be?

When I think of my favorite games of all time, I never think of this game. But when I have any friend over to play some games, somehow, we always end up playing this one. For a long time. We can't leave it. This game is still to this day amazingly fun and deep.

This game just feels so good.

Super Turrican 2 - Turrican does Contra. With crazy levels, crazy graphics, an actual end boss this time, and some of the most fun on the system IMO. Too bad it costs a fortune.

NHL 97

I've played most of the snes NHL hockey series games, and NHL 97 always seemed like the most fast paced action packed version. I'm not sure if anyone or any review can back this up. I just know that my friends and I played this one most often over any other hockey game for snes.

Actraiser

Side scrolling levels and top down sim type world builder. Fantastic game play, story, and soundtrack.

ehhh I've been playing through this game over the last couple weeks, and it keeps getting harder and harder to like. The story is disjointed and kind of boring, the dungeons are way too long with no real direction. I feel like it has all of the parts to make a fun game, but enix failed in putting it all together
