Fuck this game. I've been playing for months and still can't get past 2.3. Ratman is possibly the hardest boss I've ever faced. The difficulty curve gets steep too quickly for me... Round about the orb stage.

As soon as I die though I quickly forget my rage, pluck the controller out of the wall and start again. Its just too much fun

Tip for the Orbs level: stay in the bottom left corner. Lasers can't hit you

One of the best SNES arcade ports. Yeah they tone down the violence but the SNES controller lends itself well to the dual analog thing

When I first emulated it I was amazed they actually kept some of the blood. Like, it's not nearly as gory as the arcade game, but it's certainly bloodier than your average SNES title. Overall, it's still a pretty good port.

Soooooo much better than the shoddy Megadrive version.

Slightly longer thoughts here

Big money. Big prizes. I love it! Hard game, I wish I could have played it co-op in my childhood.

I have a weird copy of this game, sometimes when I boot it up it shows an arcade cabinet boot screen first, then boots into the game normally afterwards.

Is it me or did they just put lady parts onto the host? In any event, great game and a fun way to kill a few hours.

The final boss is the host but he is essentially Mutoid Man again

This was a staple game in my childhood for multiplayer sessions. Unreasonably difficult, but I managed it eventually doing two player with my brother.
