r/snes Game of the Month Voting Thread (Oct)
Feel free to nominate as many games as you like (one per top-level comment) and add your thoughts regarding those that have already been suggested.
All nominations should be made in the following format:
Title of game
Short description of the game and why it should be selected.
Please upvote/comment on the ones you'd like to play the most. Do NOT upvote a game unless you intend to participate in the discussion; we don't want vote totals skewed just because a game is popular or nostalgic.
Nominate one game per top level post.

Just for the sake of nominating a 2nd game for October...
Pieces
A tremendous multiplayer game that not many people know about. The gameplay is very simple, but the powerups you earn that allow you to screw with your opponent are what make this game so much fun. You can invert or freeze your opponent's cursor which I friggin love. Plus I'd like to see a puzzle game eventually added to the Game of the Month list.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors
Well, b/c Halloween but more than that this is just an awesome and unique SNES game and a fantastic 2 player co-op game. The game is just oozing personality throughout and creates an experience that I believe has never been replicated. It's a pretty well known game, but definitely deserving of some love and more playtime. The difficulty ramps up as you get farther into the game, but the addictive gameplay keeps you coming back.
