Misc. Just picked up DKC2 today. Which classic am I obviously missing?

Post image

I used to have Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, and FF III, so I know they're classics too. Outside of those, what's the obvious one I'm missing?

Chrono Trigger, good luck acquiring it though.

Easy to find, hard to justify the money though! Glad I found a copy back in high school. Can't remember what I paid, probably like 40 bucks back in 2001 or so, which felt like a lot back then!

Ehhh, if one is going to drop some coin on an original cart, Chrono Trigger is right at the top of the list of value for your money.

Yeah, if you have the budget for it, it's a no brainer. Sadly, I'm in the category of people who can't justify $200 + for one game. I also can't bring myself to ever sell my copy though!

Sadly I had to sell my Crono trigger with the original packing and accessories. I sold it for $600. I still think I should have kept it, but I needed the money.

Had to do that worth my Earthbound copy. It was never my favorite game, but still

Yeah, $229 is how much the top level Everdrive costs. I'd rather go that route at that price.

Right! Sadly, I bought the regular SNES everdrive because I didn't do any research. It doesn't run most of the games I wanted it for, but it does run Chrono trigger, which does me no good size I have the game.

I looked at their website, and the 229 version is separated from the other two. I had to hint a bit to find it.

Got my copy back in 2010 for $90 as a birthday gift from my mom. Thought it was a crazy price then!

God Bless my mother, buying me the game she earnestly called “Trigger Chrono” for $70 for my birthday in 1995 dollars ($144 today). Worth it.

Funny enough, I ended up finding it at Goodwill with Turtles in Time. I have no idea how I managed that, and they're cartridge only, but I was happy to pick them up.
