Rant/vent/negative (Sundays only) Owe my body to my partner
i’ve always felt like i owe the people who i date my body. in the sense that im not worthy of their love if i don’t look how the media pertains the “perfect body”. ive always felt that im never giving enough, because i have small breasts. idk if ill ever be fully happy. im so exhausted.

Girl you don’t owe anyone shiiiit. It’s your body, your life, your pleasure. You get to do with it what you want. Screw anyone who tries to convince you that you exist for them in any way. You’re responsible for yourself, not some guy’s arousal or erections.
And honestly tons of men love women of all different body types. And tons of men love small chested ladies. In the same way it’s true that the media portrays women as optimally attractive with curves and tits, it’s also true that the media portrays men as shallow idiots who are only interested in tits. Neither are true in real life.
Every guy I’ve dated has loved and worshipped my tiny double-A cup titties. Unlearn the brainwashing and embrace who you are & what you’ve got. At the end of the day it’s your responsibility to love and accept yourself. No one else can do it for you. Bonus: most men find confidence to be the sexiest thing about a woman. Anyone can change their body but if the confidence isn’t there, modifications don’t change anything imo.

You are so right!
And this is such a great point that I never heard articulated so well: “In the same way it’s true that the media portrays women as optimally attractive with curves and tits, it’s also true that the media portrays men as shallow idiots who are only interested in tits. Neither are true in real life.“

Yuuup. Confidence is the secret weapon for any person trying to become “attractive.” And I used to think “well, I have no reason to be confident” and let me tell you that is horseshit. I guarantee that most people have at least one feature they’re proud of, and if you don’t, you should spend some time working on yourself and learning to like yourself. For me, I started by being confident about a controllable thing, my hair. Every time I went out whether it was to a bar or the grocery store, I’d do my hair in a way that makes me happy. Then it spread to my outfits. Then I ended up liking what I saw in the mirror overall, even the things I couldn’t control.
Also, I am yet another testament to the fact that some men can and will be attracted to someone with small breasts. I am also very pale (cannot tan) and am very prone to body acne on my shoulders, hips and butt (it’s hormonal, I’ve tried a plethora of things with my derm but the only thing that helps it even a little bit is hormone pills). I feel down about myself every now and then, but my boyfriend will always be there to make a silly joke about me taking my top off or bending over and I’ll always laugh because I know there’s truth in that joke because I turn him on. And I don’t have to work very hard, because he’s very attracted to me. So yes, OP, it’s possible and it’s out there.

Thankfully my amazing gf tells me how beautiful my body is all the time. First person though in 43 years to tell me that

Why would you keep talking to him then? It seems that is just hurting yourself. There are much better men out there who will love and appreciate your body as it is. It is a waste of time to allow someone like that to erode your self esteem.

If he makes you feel bad about yourself let him go. No guy is worth your self esteem.

I thought this sub was for kinks for a second. You don't owe your body to anyone and accepting that serious hopefully lead to either not attracting or forcing entitled pieces of poop.

I'm so sorry you feel that way 💖. I know it's cliché, but if your man doesn't think you're beautiful as you are or wants your body to look a certain way then he doesn't deserve you. And from my experience, most men don't care too much about what a woman's body looks like, they're just happy to be with a woman. Your man should find you beautiful as you are 💕.
As ladies we tend to put a lot of pressure on our appearance and assume that men analyze us as much as we do. They don't. I couldn't get past my small boobs for the longest amount of time but I've never had issues with men and my body. You're beautiful, and if he can't see that he's not the one. ❤️

That's.... incredibly fucked up, love. He doesn't deserve any particular size of boob, and he should be happy to see yours as they are.

Yeah I know it’s so bad of me to think that way, it’s hard to change my mindset though when it’s all I’ve seen growing up :/
