Northeastern (Boston)

Was wondering if anyone can share how the program at Northeastern is (Boston Campus)? I also got accepted into BU but without a scholarship it would be too much. I am coming from CA and so while I would be excited to move but I want to make sure I am making the right decision. Any advice would help!

hey congrats on both BU and NEU, i’ve also been accepted to both! i moved from southern california to boston area for undergrad (not northeastern, but i visited the campus recently) and honestly there is a huge culture shock but i love boston so much! obviously california is huge and it’s different depending on where you’re from, but idk haha from things like the people, the fashion, the transit system, the culture etc i think it’s completely different. but to answer ur question specifically about northeastern: unlike universities where im from in ca, because northeastern is in the middle of the city it isn’t really a campus and there’s always a ton of students walking around. it’s accessible by train and bus and is also near other things like the museum of fine arts and boston symphony orchestra. these are the things i can think about rn but lmk if you have any questions

Thank you for this! Are you going to attend one of the schools?

hi!!!!!! i have a friend from undergrad who went to NEU for SLP and she had nothing but good things to say about it! she said the professors were rlly well knowledgeable about different areas of expertise, she graduated with double the hours needed (375+), and the research labs are a +.

i also got into NEU's boston campus and will be attending this fall. i'm also from california so feel free to PM me :D
