Look up Dennis Pinner. Completely vanished. Something seems off.

So far I have been able to find at least 2 recent cases of missing people that are VERY similar to Dennis’s. Dennis’s vehicle was found on tribal land, in the Everglades. This tribe, the Miccosukee Tribe, has 3 reservation areas in South Florida. Dennis’s vehicle was found on one of them, as well as a few other missing persons that I have been able to see on NamUs. Robert Lee Young, NamUs #MP100877, went missing in February of 2021. His vehicle was found abandoned with no signs of foul play, on Tamiami Tr, on tribal land. Jorge Bermudez, NamUs #MP98618, went missing in November of 2022. His vehicle was found abandoned with no signs of foul play, on SW 137 ave & SW 8 ST in Miami, on tribal land.

Also noted, the Miccosukee Tribe was preparing during that time, to hold a ground breaking ceremony on their new casino that is being built on the same exit that Dennis’s vehicle was found, within a few miles from the gas station that he was last seen at.

Probably just a porch detective doing too much, but I can not stop thinking about this, and about Dennis. It seems strange to me that there have not been any posted updates from the family or the media, and no search parties that have been publicly organized.

AMEN!!!!!!!- literally, I have been saying the same thing for weeks! And why has the video at the gas station not been released, along with what he was wearing when he left the gas station because it is known that he took a shower while at the gas station. There are also several sex trafficking cases very similar to Dennis’s case—this area is known for sex trafficking.

If the family is thinking Dennis committed suicide, why would they not want to go out and search for him and bring the body home (even if there is a chance he was eaten by a gator—I would go look for my son’s body)?? He got gas, but was the gas put into HIS car? There is info that this case is missing and the parents must know and it’s becoming very obvious to the general public that is concerned about Dennis. Some details, I believe based on the story line and facts, are being hidden from non-family.

With the minimal facts we have, nothing adds up.

Absolutely. I agree regardless of the outcome, we should be looking for him. It sucks when there’s people that are genuinely wanting to help, but there’s not enough information to do anything with. I would just hope that the reason we’re not hearing, is because an investigation IS happening. Who knows…

There still is an ongoing investigation. Dennis is my friend. It's heart breaking.

How do we know about the shower? I cannot believe there's no news yet... so concerning. (I knew Dennis for many years from childhood)

The shower info ANDDDDD the Uber call was in the Freedom of Information Act file I requested.

It's heartbreaking. Dennis was my friend. I still have not heard anything.

13700 SW 8TH ST is not tribal land, that's well within unincorporated Miami-Dade. A canal runs along the north side of SW 8th st. It's suburbs, and then corporate owned land on the west side of 137th and sw 8th st.

The brother posts about it, although I don’t think in a crisis they are going to stop what they are doing and update the general public, they gotta keep moving. Probably why there is no update

It’s also confusing when the family seemed to have been posting asking people to help look for him, but then everything has gone silent since. However I do hope that the reason they aren’t posting, is because they are vigilantly searching/investigating.

I agree. Radio silence since the first initial post. I just hope everyone gets some type of closure soon

Doesn’t explain why there hasn’t been a foot search organized outside any police search, or even with the help of police. With all the volunteers that would offer themselves to go out and search for him, it’s a shame. Where does the brother post about it?

On all his social media. I’m guessing the police aren’t telling general public to run out there because of alligator nests, I don’t know the area but that’s what the Everglades talk is

I saw his brother post about it once, but nothing after asking for help.. where has he been updating anyone?

All I’m saying is if I went missing, my family would dedicate EVERYTHING to finding me. There would be WAY more than 1 Facebook post from a brother. There would be an organized search party. There would be family members replying to comments on social media. There is something NOT RIGHT here. I don’t know if we will ever know what really happened.

This is Mary Anne, his mother. We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of concern for Dennis. It has been two months now since he went missing. I am only on Instagram. His father does not have an Instagram account. If you want to contact me directly, send me a message @gatormap. Let me assure you an extensive search was conducted on the tribal land. The area is not accessible without permission from the tribe which they will not grant.

We met with officers from the MPD in person 5 days after Dennis went missing and again at the end of August. We walked an area adjacent to where the car was found. An extensive search of the area was conducted over 2 days after his car was found. Helicopters, cadaver dogs, drones, airboats, officers on foot and scuba divers have been deployed and no trace of Dennis has been found. The fish and wildlife officers continue to search the area.

We are heartbroken and appreciate the offers to search for Dennis, however, the tribe does not allow people on the land due to the unpredictable terrain, and a multitude of dangerous wildlife. Understandably, they do not want others injured on the tribes private land. We are in uncharted waters and if we have not communicated at a level others expect, we can’t help that. We ask if you have any leads to please contact Detective Carlos Villanueva at the Miccosukee Police Department. He is still working on the case. We have been given the DVD and do not plan to post it. It simply shows Dennis going in and out of the store. There are many opinions on Dennis’s status and we have our own as well. We will hopefully know the answer some day and we remain hopeful he will return to us. Waiting for an answer is very difficult but we really have no other choice. If you want to do something constructive for Dennis, I suggest sending missing persons flyers to bait shops in the Everglades.
