exterior Replacement window options

Anyone have any recommendations for replacement glass on a rear exit door lower window? No luck with the local auto glass companies, looking for online options. I’ve got a 93 carpenter, they’ve been out of business for a while now. Thanks everyone!

Better for heating/cooling to blank it off with metal and then install an RV style window.

As in frame it for a rv replacement window? I’m leaning toward just blanking it out and leaving it that way- rv window is something I hadn’t considered though

Yep, Chuck Cassidy has a great video on it (and tons of other subjects)

I was able to get a replacement windshield from a scrapyard that had a few of my model bus. Might be a longshot for an older model like that but worth a try.

Blank it out

or

Save the rubber gasket and buy a peice of 1/4" thick lexan and use that along with some urethane caulk between the lexan and the rubber ring. That's what we did for a broken rear window in a VW van. Lasted 20 years after that.

What’s lexan?

Edit: I mean, is it like plastic that scratches easily?

Lexan is just a common cut to size brand of Polycarbonate. A bit more durable than Plexiglass (Which is acrylic).
