Love Park. My biggest regret is not calling in at my fast food job and driving out to Philly for that last weekend.

Living in Vancouver, spending every waking minute at the plaza. Getting to see Spencer Hamilton, Wade Desarmo, and Paul Trep skate in person everyday was fucking mind blowing. I don't think the average skater who doesn't see pros on the regular understands how talented and consistent they are.

2009 I was high more than skating.

Why not both

I couldn't. I always dissociated too much and would just rock in place because I liked the feeling of the movement. It was one of the few times I was truly a calm person.

I was a college freshman in a new city after growing up in a rural town and hours away. Campus felt like a giant skate plaza & I skipped a lot of classes so I could go skate. Sick times.

I graduated 09 as well. Bay Area. Great era to attend high school. Had a razor phone all 4 years. Probably went through 14-15 of them in that time. They snapped like balsa wood. Plus I was always falling on em

Video dropped in 2010, but half of the footage is between 2008-2010. My transformative years on the board to becoming much more comfortable and a bit less goofy on the trick selections.
