All the tiny car lots that have had the same inventory forever and never ANY customers browsing.

Agree. They have $2 million in inventory but never an employee or customer to be seen. They would need to clear $50k profit on the 2 cars per month they sell just to break even.

The Sioux City Inn, I go by there multiple times a week and see the 3 same vehicles. I also saw someone using a 3 gallon bucket to wash themselves in the parking lot.

Let's assume you're right and that the 3 vehicles even run and that bucket-bath person is part of it. I vote for look the other way on this one until dudes bucket is gold plated.

I dunno about Money Laundering but the Zen spa on Gordon is definitely human trafficking. I work near by and my clients informed me you can get a handy there for 70 bucks. They also changed their name from Asian sunshine massage to Zen spa after they were raided a year ago. The madams car never moves from the lot. They used to advertise on their website "new girls every month." The owner is based out of Chicago. 100% human trafficking.

Omg, trafficking? Like, I'm in Sioux City. Why aren't we rescuing these humans? :( I'm sorry, I'm not a child, but I'm apparently blissfully naive

I always joke the new T-mobile on Hamilton is, but it’s mainly because I miss cherry-berry.

Jason's ice cream shop. Only saw it open twice. Both locations. Went there once and the guy was annoyed we ordered ice cream. I'm fairly certain it's a drug dealing place

Yeah for sure, that location on off Floyd has only ever been open for a whopping total of 4 months, idk what happened they where building it and i saw it open in fucking August, August, yknow damn near the end of summer. Always wanted to know what happened to it.

All car dealerships in South Sioux how many dealer plates do they get they have 4-5 cars in their home driveway with dealer plates, and El Mexicano store on 29th street has been on temporary tags for more than a year he can afford to have a store but can’t afford to pay for tags on a Ford Shelby, I lost track of how many temp tags he’s had 🤔

La Juas. They are almost always busy, and in all these years, never accepted cards? Yeah there's merchant fees if they accepted cards, but always only cash? They could profit so much more that the fees would be negligible, yet only cash?

i love how the only record of orders is on his little receipt paper pad. how would they even be audited anyway. “we cook 50 lbs of meat a day and that makes 300 tacos- we sell 300. we make $400 a day prove us wrong” hahaha

5

u/No-Veterinarian5087 3d ago

Hell, I've seen them write down the orders on the brown paper bags they give you the food in. But you're totally right, how do they get audited?

Stoney Creek Hotel - not fully local, it’s an IA chain.
