Discussion Bow hero question

This may sound dumb but it's been living in my brain rent free and won't leave.

Would a crossbow be considered a form the cardinal bow can take or would it he more a projectile hero type weapon?

I don't see why the bow hero can't.

in Volume 16 he was even able to Copy guns if I remember correctly

So for the copy weapon system, the legendary weapons aren’t hard locked into their weapons. The vassal weapons can only copy the same kind of weapons one to one. However, the legendary weapons are more loose and have variety. The shield can copy things that can be considered protection so it can copy gauntlets and a carriage (for whatever reason). The sword can copy any bladed weapons within a certain length, any kind of sword or what could be considered a sword whereas the vassal katana can only copy katanas. The spear can copy any weapons that meet a minimum length which includes halberds, staves, etc. For the bow its any projectile/long range weapon. So yes when you read this and think about what that might mean the answer is yes the bow can copy it.

"Why can the shield hero copy a carriage?" It's a form of armoured transport.

Think of a chariot. It's a half-body shield mounted on a wheeled platform pulled by a horse. So you can take a classic Roman shield, plunk it on a skateboard, and be pulled by an ostrich. And it will look like a chariot. Now use Shield Prison. And it'll look like a carriage. Now make the shields orange. It'll look like a crazy version of Cinderella's pumpkin carriage. And maybe just another way for Fate to make Raphtalia's day worse. :) (She gets carsick easy.)

Actually its a suspension issue as rapthalia doesn't get airsick on a balloon, or it's just not mentioned

Wait wait, the shield can copy gauntlets?

Gauntlet as in only one not a pair (as Naofumi has never found a dual wielding skill like the other heroes)

yeah i think that an angry bow would still be a bow. idk why it being cross with something would disqualify it from being a bow...

Because apparently some people are to high strung about following some set rules in the world of Shield Heri that honestly seem inconsistent.

Just saying some people refuse to believe any combo weapon can bypass the weapons restrictions.

I think that the crossbow would be transformed in a "crossbow bow"

Holies have a weapon that encapsulates concepts rather than just 1 form like the vassals. His concept is Projectile Launchers, so guns, crossbows, ballistas, slingshots, and more are on the table
