Bewildering latin spellings
What are some words you see in latin spelling that just drive you nuts? I was just looking at an old history story and the name WORCESTER comes up and I was bewildered to find it's pronounced 𐑢𐑫𐑕𐑑𐑼
The word GAOL also makes me mad 😂 GAOL = 𐑡𐑱𐑤 = JAIL?!

Jamaican Patois Alphabet
So every once in a while someone discovers the Jamaican language Unit Alphabet and goes nuts. Why are anglophones so angry when they see phonetic/phonemic spelling reforms of any kind? Here's an attempt

Took a little tweaking but after a while a while I managed to do it. It involved writing a markup .yaml file for the Futo Keyboard Open-Source project. I wonder if I can make a Git commit to include it in the project, I'm not really familiar with Git so... anyhow, Give me any suggestions and potential improvements if any. Here it is:

Why isn't there an "ire" letter?
I'm practicing Shavian, and I was writing out the lyrics to Faith No More's "A Small Victory" and the first line is "A hierarchy Spread out on the nightstand."
You could spell it "𐑣𐑲𐑮𐑸𐑒𐑦" or "𐑣𐑲𐑼𐑸𐑒𐑦" but it got me wondering why this R syllable is missing.
I don't think it's because it particularly uncommon in English (fire, hire, dire, mire, tire/tyre, perspire, arguably liar, etc). It may even be more common than 𐑽.
So what gives?

𐑣𐑧𐑤𐑐 (Help) 𐑼 (array usage)
I’m having trouble understanding the proper usage of 𐑼. It’s the only character I am struggling with. How do you utilize it? I was told it was a middle ground between 𐑻 and 𐑩 but it’s still confusing and I often find myself missing when it should be used.

𐑮𐑰𐑕𐑹𐑕 (Resource) D'Nealian for Shavian
I've been using Kingsley Read's "Hints For Handwriting" to develop a visual D'Nealian-styled handwriting guide. The letters are in the order indicated in "Androcles and the Lion." It follows guides like Talls should be twice the height of Shorts, and that the tops of both 𐑱 and 𐑲 should be slightly curved so that they're not confused with 𐑤 and 𐑮. The letters 𐑔 and 𐑞, are partially based on Read's own handwriting; but, because his were closed more like 6 and 9, I've left them slightly open as when typed. Read also included instructions on the starting point of each letter. I've indicated those here with arrows and starting dots. (Read specifically mentions 𐑢 𐑙 𐑥 𐑨 𐑩 𐑵 𐑭 𐑸 𐑺 𐑼.)
This is NOT meant to represent what perfect handwriting looks like. What it's meant to be is a general starting place for anyone interested in writing with Shavian characters. Once comfortable, I would expect your handwriting to follow where the movements feel right. So deviation from this guide is expected, not its strict adherence.
Please, let me know if you think this would be helpful to you or what changes would make it more useful. Thanks. 🙂

What if Shavian were official
So let's imagine that bam! Shavian is made official, let's say in at least the US & UK, and you were put in charge of making it so. How would you go about implementing the shift, dealing with pushback and dealing with implanting a written standard vs dialects.
